The NBA play-offs are rapidly approaching, and there's plenty of action to enjoy on Tuesday night, heading into the early hours of Wednesday morning, with the standout game being an all-Western Conference clash between the Golden State Warriors and Dallas Mavericks.

The last time we spoke, we managed to land a 16/1 treble, and let's hope we can follow up with another winner! Here are our NBA betting tips for Tuesday's matches.

NBA Betting Tips

  • Milwaukee Bucks -14.5 vs Washington Wizards @ 5/6
  • Toronto Raptors +12.5 vs Los Angeles Lakers @ 10/11
  • Miami Heat -2.5 vs New York Knicks @ 10/11
  • Golden State Warriors to beat Dallas Mavericks @ 10/11

Treble pays 11.75/1

Milwaukee Bucks -14.5 vs Washington Wizards @ 5/6

Milwaukee are chasing a season sweep of the Wizards here, and this looks a straightforward pick to kick things off.

The Bucks suffered back-to-back defeats against the Los Angeles Lakers and the New Orleans Pelicans, before getting the better of the Atlanta Hawks last time out.

The Wizards are currently on a three-game losing streak, after enjoying a season-best three-game winning streak two weeks ago, which is all but a memory now.

Milwaukee rank fourth in the NBA for scoring, and they're facing a Wizards team that can't defend, so it feels like the Bucks can cover a large spread here.

Toronto Raptors +12.5 vs Los Angeles Lakers @ 10/11

The Lakers, who have won six of their last seven, will take on a Raptors team that have lost their last 13 matches.

LeBron James rolled back the years with his performance against Brooklyn last time out, scoring 40 points, including nine-for-10 shooting from the three-point line, and the Lakers will be hoping for another similar performance as they look to secure a play-in tournament place.

The Raptors have won seven of their past nine home games against the Lakers, dating back to March 2015, and although I don't think they'll win this match, I do think they'll have enough to cover the spread here, as R.J. Barrett and Immanuel Quickly should return to the lineup.

The Lakers' defense has improved drastically in recent weeks - they rank fourth in defensive rating in the last seven games - but a string of match-ups against less competitive opponents has helped.

Miami Heat -2.5 vs New York Knicks @ 10/11

A classic Eastern Conference rivalry is renewed on Tuesday night when the Knicks and Heat clash in Miami.

Both sides have one eye on the postseason, as the Knicks currently sit fourth in the standings, while Miami are in seventh place, which is the final spot for the play-in tournament.

New York are on for a season sweep of their rivals, as they got the best of the Heat in a pair of home games this season - 100-98 on November 24 and 125-109 on January 27 in the rematch.

However, Miami have won their past two outings and two of their last three home games. They are playing well offensively, scoring more than 117-points-per game in their last three outings, so I'm going to back them on the spread for this game.

Over the last 10 meetings with the Knicks, including the postseason, the Heat's Jimmy Butler has averaged 25.4 points, so I think he'll lead Miami to victory.

Golden State Warriors to beat Dallas Mavericks @ 10/11

Our final pick comes from a match-up of teams locked in tight battles for their postseason positions.

The Golden State Warriors have won four in a row as they attempt to fend off the surging Houston Rockets for the final play-in spot in the Western Conference, while Dallas have won five-straight road games coming into this contest.

The Warriors have tended to fare better on the road this term, so Steve Kerr will be hoping that his team can rectify their home issues to get their first win of the season over Dallas.

The most recent head-to-head was March 13, a contest which Stephen Curry missed, as the Mavericks rode to a 109-99 win, with 23 points from Kyrie Irving and 21 from Luka Doncic.

I honestly think this game could go either way, but sooner or later the Warriors have to get their act together at home, surely.
