Only two of yesterday's four picks managed to land, but there is a plethora of NBA matches taking place once again on Wednesday night and into the early hours of Thursday morning.

Some big hitters feature in our NBA betting tips for tonight's action, including the likes of the Denver Nuggets, Phoenix Suns, Los Angeles Lakers and Golden State Warriors.

NBA Betting Tips - Wednesday, March 27

  • Golden State Warriors to beat Orlando Magic @ 7/4
  • Los Angeles Lakers -3.5 vs Memphis Grizzlies @ 5/6
  • Phoenix Suns to beat Denver Nuggets @ 12/5

Treble pays 16.14/1

Golden State Warriors to beat Orlando Magic @ 7/4

This game comes as part of Golden State's pivotal road trip, however, as I mentioned in yesterday's column, the Warriors tend to fare better on their travels than they do at Chase Center.

Steph Curry and co. picked up a vital win against the Miami Heat last night, marking their 11th victory in their last 14 encounters on the road. Meanwhile, Orlando have had three days off to lick their wounds incurred in a rare home loss, a 109-107 defeat at the hands of the Sacramento Kings on Saturday night.

Prior to that defeat, the Magic had won 11 of 13 in Orlando, so this won't be a walk in the park for Golden State. I touched on it yesterday, but the Warriors will know how crucial these upcoming matches are if they want to feature in the postseason, and I expect their experience to shine through here and get the job done.

Los Angeles Lakers -3.5 vs Memphis Grizzlies @ 5/6

The Lakers come into this contest off the back of an epic double-overtime victory against the Milwaukee Bucks, despite trailing by 10 points with three minutes and 26 seconds left in regulation time. LeBron James also missed the encounter due to an ankle injury, although he is expected to play here.

The Grizzlies are enduring a miserable campaign, and they lost for the fifth time in six games on Monday night, as they were pummelled on the road by Denver in their most recent outing. Memphis currently have the worst offense in the league, averaging 105.9 points-per-game, and with the Lakers looking to strengthen their position inside the play-in places, I can only see one winner.

The Grizzlies have been dealing with injuries all season long, and despite this being LA's third game in four days, I don't think Memphis have enough quality to cover, so I'm going to take Los Angeles.

Phoenix Suns to beat Denver Nuggets @ 12/5

What a cracker this match should be.

There's been plenty of hype surrounding the Phoenix Suns after the trades they made in the offseason, and this game is a great measuring stick for them.

There's no hotter team in the NBA right now than Denver, who are 15-2 since the All-Star break and have risen to the top spot in the Western Conference, although they did lose against Phoenix earlier this month.

The Suns are coming off a disappointing 104-102 loss on Monday at San Antonio, which was without no.1 draft pick Victor Wembanyama, snapping a three-game winning streak.

Both sides have injuries to contend with, but crucially Nikola Jokic will be missing his sidekick in Jamal Murray, who is one of the best scorers in the league.

Meanwhile, Phoenix arguably have the best one-two punch in terms of scoring in the NBA, in the form of Kevin Durant and Devin Booker, which is why I'm taking the Suns on the money line here.
