The winner takes it all. Well, top spot in Group K anyway. Colombia and Portugal do battle in the heat of Miami (7.30pm local Saturday, 12.30am BST Sunday, BBC One).

Cristiano Ronaldo turned up to the party against Uzbekistan, and will be hoping to take his side to the win they need to take first place. Read on for my Colombia vs Portugal Bet Builder Tips.

Luis Diaz to score (Sub Switch)

I’m staying away from a match result in this game, as it really could go either way especially with a draw good enough for Colombia to take top spot. Instead I’m going to back goals from both sides, with Bayern Munich’s Luis Diaz catching my eye as a goalscorer selection.

He scored against Uzbekistan, bagged an assist and also had the most touches in the opposition’s area (six). Against DR Congo he again had the most touches in the box (seven), while he also took the joint-most shots (five) and had two goals ruled out for offside.

His finishing is elite, and I think he’s had a great tournament so far. A goal against Portugal would certainly catch the eye after 26 goals in 51 for Bayern Munich this term.

Betfred's Sub Switch rolls your bet to the oncoming substitute, so you stay in the game, even when your player doesn’t.

Bruno Fernandes 1+ assist (Sub Switch)

Predictable? Yes. Sensible? Also yes. Cristiano Ronaldo may have stolen all the headlines in the win over Uzbekistan, but there was a through-ball assist from his former Manchester United teammate that caught my eye.

The number 10 threaded a perfectly weighted ball through to Ronaldo to finish, and he needs to step up and be counted again against stronger opposition. Portugal’s midfield is the best in the world, and having broken the Premier League assist record this season, I think Bruno can be the star of the show once again.

Colombia vs Portugal Odds

Cristiano Ronaldo 4+ shots (Sub Switch)

Backing Ronaldo to shoot a lot has become a bit of a tradition in my Bet Builders this summer, and for good reason. Against Uzbekistan, he got his two goals, but he also unleashed seven shots in total - a massive tally against the minnows.

Obviously life will be tougher against Colombia, and that’s the reason I’m not backing him to notch another goal, but I do think CR7 will have plenty of shots once more. Remember, these are total shots rather than shots on target, so we just need him to have a crack, and he’s never shy in doing that.

Jefferson Lerma to be carded (Sub Switch)

Let’s round off by backing a Colombian midfielder to get booked. Crystal Palace’s Jefferson Lerma is always a good pick for a yellow, having picked up seven in the Premier League this term. He was booked in the game against DR Congo, and made two fouls against Uzbekistan.

Up against this magical midfield trio, he is going to have to get stuck in, and therefore I think he’s a great shout to pick up a yellow card.
