The Coppa Italia final between Atalanta and Juventus in Rome surely represents the highlight fixture in an action-packed evening of football on Wednesday, May 15, but there are several other important games taking place across various European leagues, including the Premier League and La Liga.

Today's live football on TV will be broadcast across the BBC, Sky Sports and Premier Sports.

The first hurdle for Atalanta to overcome if they want to secure a historic double this season - the second being a Europa League final with Bayer Leverkusen next week - is at the Stadio Olimpico tonight, where they face Juventus in the Coppa Italia final.

The two clubs have met twice already this season, drawing Serie A matches 0-0 in Bergamo and 2-2 in Turin - can anything separate them in regulation time in Rome? Or will extra time and penalties be required to determine the winner?

Another team with their eye on the prize is Chelsea Women, who can move back to the top of the Women's Super League with a victory over Tottenham Women at Brisbane Road. The Blues currently trail Manchester City Women by three points ahead of the season finale on Saturday.

There's also jeopardy at Old Trafford on Wednesday, as Manchester United and Newcastle United lock horns. The hosts must win to stand a chance of finishing above the Magpies, while a defeat would likely end their chances of qualifying for Europe through their league position.

Further north, Celtic can clinch the Scottish Premiership title ahead of bitter rivals Rangers if they avoid defeat to Kilmarnock at Rugby Park.

Meanwhile, in Spain, Rayo Vallecano are looking to defeat Granada to pretty much rubber-stamp their top-tier status for another year. Two of their relegation rivals, Cadiz and Celta Vigo, are also in action on Wednesday, away to Sevilla and at home to Athletic Club respectively.

The fourth and final La Liga fixture comes at the Coliseum, where Atletico Madrid can secure Champions League football next season with victory over Getafe.
