Premier League Stats & Best Bets for Week 21
- West Ham vs Nottingham Forest
- Tuesday, 20:00
- Live on Sky Sports
Key stat: West Ham are winless in their last nine Premier League games, while Nottingham Forest have lost their last four league matches
Best bet: West Ham's wretched season hit a new low on Saturday when they gave Wolves their first win of the season, with the Hammers not even registering a shot on target in the 3-0 defeat. Things aren't much better for Forest, with Sean Dyche's men on a four-match losing run and now four points below 16th placed Leeds. Both sides are low on confidence and this could well be a slow burner - nine of the 11 goals Forest have conceded against West Ham since returning to the top flight in 2022 have come in the final 20 minutes of games. We'll back a goalless first half here at 2/1.

- Bournemouth vs Tottenham
- Wednesday, 19:30
- Live on Sky Sports
Key stat: Only Brighton (49) have been shown more yellow cards than Bournemouth and Tottenham this season (both 48), with the two sides also picking three red cards between them.
Best bet: Bournemouth put up a good show against Arsenal on Saturday evening but ended up on the wrong side of a five-goal thriller which made it 11 winless games for the Cherries. Tottenham put up a good 45 minutes against Sunderland but then sat back and were held to a draw. Thomas Frank's men haven't scored a goal in open play for a month now and look devoid of attacking ideas. A draw would probably be the call if we were playing the match odds but with both sides lacking discipline, we'll head to the cards markets instead - over 42.5 is odds-against here (reminder: 10 pts per yellow, 25pts per red).

- Brentford vs Sunderland
- Wednesday, 19:30
- Live on Sky Sports
Key stat: Sunderland have drawn each of their last four Premier League games, while Brentford are unbeaten in their last five Premier League games, drawing two.
Best bet: Brentford and Sunderland were fancied for relegation ahead of the start of the season, but they've both delivered an excellent first half of the campaign and sit a point behind fifth placed Chelsea ahead of this gameweek. The Bees come off the back of a stunning 4-2 win at Everton, while the Black Cats were well deserving of a point at Tottenham. The sides look closely matched - the reverse fixture was a tight affair - and the draw price stands out at 13/5.

- Crystal Palace vs Aston Villa
- Wednesday, 19:30
- Live on Sky Sports
Key stat: Aston Villa have won 18 of their last 21 games in all competitions, while Crystal Palace have lost four of their last five Premier League matches.
Best bet: Aston Villa bounced back from the 4-1 defeat at Arsenal with a resounding 3-1 win over Forest on Saturday and look well placed to take advantage of Crystal Palace's injury problems - Nathaniel Clyne is set to miss out, meaning youngster Jaydee Canvot may start at right-wing back, with Daniel Munoz already out. The Eagles have added Brennan Johnson to the ranks, but were under-par at Newcastle and Villa look a good price here.

- Everton vs Wolves
- Wednesday, 19:30
- Live on Sky Sports
Key stat: Wolves have won four Premier League away games against Everton, only winning more often at Southampton (5) and Tottenham (5) in the competition.
Best bet: Everton's shock 4-2 home reverse to Brentford made it four defeats in six for David Moyes' men, who are badly missing Idrissa Gana Gueye and Iliman Ndiaye (AFCON) and the injured Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall. Wolves finally got their first win of the season with a resounding 3-0 win over West Ham and performances have been much improved in recent weeks. The Midlanders are a backable evens on the Double Chance market, but we'll take a chance on the away win at 4/1.

- Fulham vs Chelsea
- Wednesday, 19:30
- Live on Sky Sports
Key stat: Enzo Fernández has had four shots on target in his last five matches in the Premier League, scoring in the last two
Best bet: Last-minute injury time equalisers for both teams last time out mean Fulham and Chelsea go into this derby clash in a confident mood. Harrison Reed's rocket gave the Cottagers a deserved point against Liverpool, while Enzo Fernández scored for the second game running, bundling in at the far post at the Etihad. The Blues are favourites to win here in what may be Liam Rosenior's first game in charge but with Marco Silva's men unbeaten in five, we'll swerve the match odds and focus on the Argentine midfielder to continue testing the keeper. One shot on target at 5/6 is one for your Bet Builders but we'll push the boat out and back two.

- Manchester City vs Brighton
- Wednesday, 19:30
- Live on Sky Sports
Key stat: Nine of the last ten meetings between Man City and Brighton in all competitions have featured over 2.5 goals.
Best bet: Two dropped points against Chelsea left Man City six points behind leaders Arsenal but they have never lost in 15 home league games against Brighton and should pick up three points here to at least put a bit of pressure on the Gunners who play on Thursday. Pep Guardiola's men are 2/5 for the win but we can boost that to 6/4 by adding both teams to score. The hosts are likely to be without Josko Gvardiol, Ruben Dias and John Stones at the back and the Seagulls have only failed to score in two road trips this season.

- Burnley vs Manchester United
- Wednesday, 20:15
- Live on Sky Sports
Key stat: Burnley won their first ever Premier League home game against Man Utd 1-0 in August 2009. However, they're winless in eight against them since then (D2 L6), scoring just one goal in the process.
Best bet: Predicting a Manchester United match is hard enough at the best of times, but one with Darren Fletcher in the dugout? A nightmare! But one suspects the former Red Devils midfield man will look to tighten up a porous backline that kept just two clean sheets in Ruben Amorim's 24 away games in the Premier League. Burnley remain pretty toothless and could be missing up to 10 players here, so a low-scoring three points for visitors is the call.

- Newcastle United vs Leeds United
- Wednesday, 20:15
- Live on Sky Sports
Key stat: Leeds have drawn five of their last six matches, including their last three away from home, while both teams have scored in six of Newcastle's last eight at home.
Best bet: Leeds followed up their excellent draw at Anfield with a hard-fought point against old rivals Man Utd, which took their unbeaten run to seven. Newcastle overcame a tired Crystal Palace side but have been inconsistent in recent weeks and have only beaten the Whites once in their last seven attempts. We'll back another stalemate here with both teams scoring.

- Arsenal vs Liverpool
- Thursday, 20:00
- Live on Sky Sports
Key stat: Liverpool have conceded 12 goals from set pieces, while Arsenal have scored 12 from corners and free-kicks
Best bet: Liverpool have recovered from their wobbly spell and are comfortably in the top four after an unbeaten run of eight games, but they would have been higher in the league with a better set piece record - with set piece coach Aaron Briggs paying for the poor performance with his job. The Gunners are set piece kings of course and we can get an odds-against price by doubling Gabriel and Saliba - always the focus on corners - simply to have a shot each, on target or otherwise.
Suggested Bet: Back Gabriel Magalhaes and William Saliba to have 1+ shots at 13/8
