After a goal-laden midweek, it's a quick turnaround for all the top flight teams, with the weekend kicking off on Saturday lunchtime as Aston Villa host league leaders Arsenal in what is probably the most interesting game of the weekend. I'm sure they'll also be plenty of attention up at Elland Road in the teatime match as Liverpool boss Arne Slot continues to be under pressure.

Dan Thomas digs into the key numbers and picks out the best bets for all 10 games as he brings us Premier League stats preview…

Premier League Stats & Best Bets for Week 15

  • Aston Villa vs Arsenal
  • Saturday, 12:30
  • Live on TNT Sports

Key Stat: Aston Villa have found the net in nine of last 10 games, scoring a total of 20, while Arsenal have scored in each of their last 18 matches in all competitions.

Best Bet: Arsenal remain five points clear at the top of the table after a routine 2-0 win over Brentford in midweek, but they suffered another central defensive injury on the night, with Christhian Mosquero joining Gabriel and William Saliba on the treatment table. They face a Villa side who came from two goals down to win at Brighton on Wednesday and have been in good scoring form. I was surprised to see Both Teams to Score trading at 10/11 and that's the play here.

Aston Villa vs Arsenal - Both Teams To Score
Yes

  • Bournemouth vs Chelsea
  • Saturday, 15:00

Key Stat: Chelsea have the joint-best attacking away record in the Premier League this season with 15 goals from seven matches, but they have conceded three goals in both games than Moises Caicedo has missed in the campaign.

Best Bet: Chelsea failed to build on what was an encouraging performance against Arsenal last weekend, going down 3-1 at Leeds in midweek, with Caicedo a big miss in the middle of the park. He's serving the second game of a three-match ban for this one which will give Bournemouth hope, given their rapid counter attacking capabilities. Seven of the Cherries' last nine have gone over the 3.5 goals line and we'll back a repeat.

AFC Bournemouth vs Chelsea - Total Goals
Over 3.5 Goals

Odds correct at time of publishing.

  • Everton vs Nottingham Forest
  • Saturday, 15:00

Key Stat: Both teams have scored in only two of Sean Dyche's nine games in charge at Nottingham Forest so far, while nine of Everton's 14 matches have seen two goals or fewer.

Best Bet: After a goal-heavy beginning to life at the City Ground for Sean Dyche, Forest have seen the last two matches fail to break the over 2.5 goals line and a match-up with David Moyes' Everton isn't likely to be one for the purists. Both sides secured hard-fought 1-0 wins in midweek and a repeat either way here looks likely. With Under 2.5 Goals trading at 8/11, we'll take a chance on Under 1.5 Goals at bigger than 2/1.

Everton vs Nottingham Forest - Total Goals
Under 1.5 Goals

Odds correct at time of publishing.

  • Manchester City vs Sunderland
  • Saturday, 15:00

Key Stat: Man City's last eight matches have seen an average of nearly 4.5 goals per game in all competitions, while both teams have scored in five of Sunderland's last six Premier League games.

Best Bet: We just about landed our 21/10 selection of Man City to win and BTTS when they faced Fulham in midweek, but Pep Guardiola's men almost threw away at 5-1 lead and the defensive lapses will have concerned the Spaniard. Sunderland's fairytale season continued as they picked up a point at Anfield in midweek and they can score again here. We'll take BTTS and Over 3.5 Goals at nearly 2/1.

Manchester City vs Sunderland - Both Teams To Score and Total Goals Over/Under +3.5
Yes and Over 3.5 Goals

Odds correct at time of publishing.

  • Newcastle United vs Burnley
  • Saturday, 15:00

Key Stat: Burnley are the only team in the Premier League who are creating less than 1.0 expected goals per match, and they sit below Wolves in the expected points table.

Best Bet: After back-to-back wins over relegation rivals Leeds and Wolves in October, Burnley could have been forgiven for looking up the table rather than down, but they've lost five on the spin since then and are in 19th, four points off safety. They face a Newcastle side who were unlucky not to beat Spurs in midweek and overcame Man City in their previous home match. With Eddie's Howe's men trading at just 2/7, we'll back the Magpies to win to nil at evens.

Newcastle United vs Burnley - To Win to Nil
Newcastle United

Odds correct at time of publishing.

  • Tottenham vs Brentford
  • Saturday, 15:00

Key Stat: Brentford have one clean sheet in seven away league matches, while Tottenham have recorded only one shut-out in their seven at home in the top flight.

Best Bet: A valiant if fortunate point at Newcastle in midweek at least stopped the run of losing games for Thomas Frank but the two goals Tottenham let in made it 15 concessions in five games and the Dane's former club will fancy their chance of finding the net. The Bees have the same amount of points at Spurs with their matches averaging over three goals a game. We'll back both teams to score and Over 2.5 Goals at bigger than evens.

Tottenham Hotspur vs Brentford - Both Teams To Score and Total Goals Over/Under +2.5
Yes and Over 2.5 Goals

Odds correct at time of publishing.

  • Leeds United vs Liverpool
  • Saturday, 17:30
  • Live on Sky Sports

Key Stat: Ethan Ampadu has committed 18 fouls in 12 appearances for Leeds this season and is their most booked player, with four yellow cards.

Best Bet: After a fantastic win under lights against Chelsea in midweek, Leeds will be up for the fight against a Liverpool side who could only draw with Sunderland and remain languishing in midtable. The hosts will have plenty of backers at 13/5 but we'll focus on the card markets here and back the tenacious Ethan Ampadu to attract the wrath of the referee. With neither side looking solid defensively, we'll double it with both teams to score to boost the price to 7/2.

  • Brighton vs West Ham
  • Sunday, 14:00
  • Live on Sky Sports

Key Stat: Both teams to score has landed in all but one of Brighton's home games this season, while only two of West Ham's away matches did not feature goals at both ends.

Best Bet: Brighton's seven-goal thriller with Aston Villa in midweek - only the second-craziest scoreline of the round - marked the Seagulls' first home defeat of the season but highlighted the exciting brand of football they are playing. West Ham secured an excellent point at Old Trafford on Thursday and can find the net here, but with a short turnaround for the Hammers, we'll back Fabian Hurzeler's men to end up with the three points.

Brighton & Hove Albion & Yes

  • Fulham vs Crystal Palace
  • Sunday, 16:30
  • Live on Sky Sports

Key Stat: Only Arsenal have kept more clean sheets and conceded fewer goals in the Premier League this season than Crystal Palace (7 clean sheets, 11 goals conceded), with the Eagles keeping a shutout in four of their last five games

Best Bet: Fulham almost pulled off one of the finest Premier League comebacks of all time in midweek as they reeled Man City back in from 5-1 to 5-4, but the match is likely to have taken a lot out of the players. The Cottagers haven't won any of their last six matches against Crystal Palace and we'll back the Eagles to get the three points here. Oliver Glasner's men have been showing sides of tiredness in recent weeks, but they remain one of the most solid sides in the division.

  • Wolves vs Manchester United
  • Monday, 20:00
  • Live on Sky Sports

Key Stat: Bryan Mbeumo has either scored (3) or assisted (2) a goal in five of his six Premier League appearances against Wolves.

Best Bet: More dropped points at home for Manchester United on Thursday as West Ham nicked a late point, but Ruben Amorim's men have been in better form on the road, going unbeaten in their last four away Premier League matches. Wolves remain rooted to the bottom on two points and it's hard to see Rob Edwards getting off the mark here. We'll boost the United win price to 2/1 by adding the in-form Bryan Mbeumo to find the net.
