Reigning Premier League champions Liverpool, scrapping just to secure Uefa Champions League football for next season, host mid-table Fulham at Anfield on Saturday evening (17:30 BST, Sky Sports Main Event). A win for the Cottagers this weekend would put Marco Silva's side two points behind the Reds and pile further pressure on opposite number Arne Slot, who will be desperate to avoid a fourth consecutive defeat.

Read on for my Liverpool vs Fulham predictions, alongside the latest team news and match odds.

Team News

Alisson Becker (hamstring), Giovanni Leoni, Conor Bradley (both knee) and Wataru Endo (foot) are out injured for Liverpool, who could hand further minutes to record signing Alexander Isak. The Swedish striker returned from a lengthy lay-off as a substitute during Wednesday's 2-0 loss to Paris Saint-Germain in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final tie.

Andy Robertson, who announced on Thursday that he will leave Liverpool at the end of the season, Curtis Jones, Mohamed Salah and Cody Gakpo are among those who could earn promotions from the bench.

Football Odds

Kevin (foot) is sidelined for Fulham, who could also be without Kenny Tete (foot) again.

Liverpool vs Fulham Predicted Lineups

  • Fulham: Leno; Castagne, Andersen, Bassey, Robinson; Berge, Iwobi; Wilson, King, Bobb; Muniz

Liverpool vs Fulham Odds

Liverpool are 8/13 favourites to collect all three points, implying a 61.9% probability of success, with Fulham priced at 4/1, or a 20% chance, and the draw offered at 10/3.

Betfred's Price Boosts include Liverpool To Win, Liverpool Most Corners & Fulham Most Cards at 3/1 (was 5/2).

 Liverpool vs Fulham Stats

  • FUL are unbeaten in the last three H2Hs (W1, D2)
  • LIV have lost their last three games in all competitions
  • Wilson (FUL) opened the scoring in January's 2-2 draw at Craven Cottage

Draw No Bet - Fulham @ 5/2

Liverpool have only won one of their last six games across all competitions (D1, L4), suffering three consecutive defeats away to Brighton (2-1), Manchester City (4-0) and PSG (2-0) in the Premier League, FA Cup and Champions League, respectively.

A return to Anfield, where they are unbeaten in their last four matches (W3, D1), may offer some respite, but they were held 1-1 by relegation-threatened Tottenham Hotspur in their last league game there on March 15, and the Reds haven't tasted success in the top flight since beating another struggling side, West Ham United, 5-2 on February 28.

Since that victory over the Irons, Slot's team have lost away to Wolves and Brighton (both 2-1), either side of that stalemate with Spurs.

Today's Football Fixtures

On Saturday, Liverpool host Fulham, who recovered from three consecutive Premier League defeats to win three of their last five in the competition, and they are unbeaten in their last two away matches, beating Sunderland 3-1 at the Stadium of Light before holding Nottingham Forest to a goalless draw at the City Ground.

The Cottagers should be fresh and raring to go this weekend after three weeks without a competitive game, while Liverpool may be feeling the effects of their midweek defeat in Paris, and they are likely to have an eye on Tuesday's return fixture at Anfield, so this looks like a dangerous contest for Slot's side.

Slot is yet to oversee a victory over Fulham, who held the Reds to a 2-2 draw at Anfield in the first half of the 2024/25 campaign before triumphing 3-2 at Craven Cottage in the second half of the season.

The two teams played out a 2-2 draw at Craven Cottage in January, with Harrison Reed stunning the visitors with a long-range equaliser in the seventh minute of second-half stoppage time to claim a share of the spoils for his side.

Fulham are big value to win on Saturday at 4/1, but given two of the last three head-to-heads have finished level, I think it's worth adding some insurance, so the visitors in the Draw No bet market at 5/2 appeals here.

Anytime Goalscorer - Harry Wilson (FUL) @ 5/2

Coming in at the same price is former Liverpool winger Harry Wilson to score anytime, as he did in January's reverse fixture, when he opened the scoring in the 17th minute.

The 29-year-old, who put a permanent end to his 17-year association with the Reds in 2022 when completing a move to Fulham, is enjoying the most productive Premier League season of his career, registering 10 goals and six assists in 29 appearances.

Wilson has struck in two of his last three club outings, including last time out in a 3-1 victory over Burnley, and on Saturday, he goes in search of his first Anfield goal, with his two previous efforts against the Reds coming at Craven Cottage.

With Liverpool looking shaky at the back, this looks like the perfect game for the Wales star to grab that elusive goal at Anfield.
