Betfred payout early on Liverpool to win the Premier League!

Well, after the Reds' comprehensive 2-0 win over reigning champions Manchester City at the Etihad on Sunday, Fred has seen enough and is paying out an estimated £1million early to shrewd customers, who were quick to jump onto the inflated price. 

As you can see above this is the TENTH time that Fred has paid out early on the Premier League winner and it has come back to bite him on a number of occasions.

Most notably, he was the first to pay out on the Premier League winners market back in 1998, when Manchester United were 12 points clear at the time, only for title rivals Arsenal to pip them to the title by a single point!

Goals from Mohamed Salah and Dominik Szoboszlai, as well as a shock defeat for their title rivals Arsenal at home to West Ham, has seen Arne Slot's men take a huge 11-point lead over the Gunners with just over a quarter of the season remaining.

That was enough for Fred to swallow some humble pie and announce he was paying out on Liverpool to win the league, in a move that is expected to cost around £1million!

It was particularly galling for the 81-year-old, as combined with being a huge Manchester United fan, he also went Top Price on the Merseyside club to win the league in pre season and announced it would be paying for his family trip to the Bahamas.

Fred in pre-season stating that Liverpool losing the league would be paying for his summer holiday!
