We've got a potential blockbuster on our hands on Sunday night as Brazil meet Norway in the last 16 at the New York New Jersey Stadium (9pm BST, 4pm local).

Norway made it past the Ivory Coast to make it to this stage, while Brazil defeated Japan 2-1 courtesy of a late Gabriel Martinelli winner. Read on for my Brazil vs Norway Bet Builder tips, ahead of Sunday's showdown.

Brazil vs Norway Odds

Brazil to win (90 mins)

Brazil and Norway actually met when the latter last qualified for a World Cup back in 1998 - and how the underdogs would love a repeat of that memorable 2-1 scoreline again here.

Norway's last-32 place was secured with wins over Iraq and Senegal in the group stage but facing Brazil presents another test entirely, particularly in a knockout setting.

Carlo Ancelotti's side may not be quite as good as their stellar teams of previous tournaments, but they are still contenders this summer and have several outstanding players in the likes of Alisson Becker, Gabriel, Bruno Guimaraes, Matheus Cunha and Vinicius Junior.

A late winner from Martinelli helped Brazil get through a tough match against Japan, but I don't see Norway giving them as many problems here.

Vinicius Junior to score (Sub Switch)

The Real Madrid man has enjoyed a brilliant World Cup so far, scoring four times, as well as claiming one assist in four appearances.

The 25-year-old has had 15 shots so far, 10 of which have been on target, and he has had two or more shots on target in his last three outings against Scotland, Haiti and Japan, suggesting he'll get chances on Sunday.

Vini has eight goals in his last 12 appearances for club and country, so he looks a tempting pick to net anytime here.

Both teams to score - yes

After waxing lyrical about Brazil's attack, Norway's isn't too shabby either, with Erling Haaland leading the line for the Vikings. They've actually scored 10 times across their last four matches, with the Manchester City man accounting for half of those strikes.

Both teams have scored in all four of Norway's World Cup games, and in nine of their last 10 internationals, so backing BTTS - yes looks a sensible play.

Danilo to commit 2+ fouls (Sub Switch)

Flamengo's Danilo has played 90 minutes in every game so far, with the exception of the opener against Morocco.

The 34-year-old has been cautioned twice and is averaging 1.71 fouls per 90 minutes so far at this World Cup. He's also making an average of 3.71 recoveries per 90, suggesting that he's being caught out of position more often than not, and having to try and correct his mistakes.

Having to deal with the trickery and pace of the likes of Martin Odegaard and Antonio Nusa, Danilo looks a prime suspect to commit a few fouls here.
