Football Bet of the Day: Betis set for another successful away day

Real Betis will be looking for more success on their travels in La Liga when they head to Rayo Vallecano on Monday (20:00 GMT, Premier Sports 1). Manuel Pellegrini's side have lost just one of their previous 10 away days in the top flight.
It is from this contest that I have selected my Football Bet of the Day, which you can find below.
Football Bet of the Day - Monday, December 15
- Match Result - Real Betis @ 13/8

Rayo Vallecano vs Real Betis Odds
Rayo Vallecano have just one win in six home games in La Liga this term and they are 13/8 to come out on top here.
They have taken a point on four occasions, though, and the draw was tempting at 9/4.
Both teams have scored in six of Real Betis' seven away trips in the league and BTTS - Yes is marketed at 4/6.
But for my football bet of the day, I am backing the visitors to come away with the three points, which is also valued at 13/8. Pellegrini's men have only seen defeat in just one of their past 10 away trips in La Liga, and they are unbeaten in this current campaign on their travels.
Monday's task will be difficult because despite Rayo having the second-worst home record in the division, they have only been beaten once. They have been very good for earning a point at Vallecas Stadium this term and they should be confident to take a share of the spoils here.
However, what is a concern for the hosts and good news for the visitors, Rayo have failed to score in four of their last five league appearances. They were able to shut out Real Madrid on home turf in November, but everyone knows Los Blancos have been going through a sticky spell of late.
Football Bet of the Day Stats
- Betis are unbeaten away from home in La Liga this season
- Rayo have failed to score in four of their previous five league outings
Betis may have just two wins in their past five league appearances but their strong away form should give them the confidence to go and pick up a valuable three points on Monday night.
Los Verdiblancos have work to do in the race for fifth, with Espanyol winning four consecutive fixtures in the top flight. Betis are currently six points adrift but a win here will reduce the deficit to three.
They could also do with the added security in sixth as Athletic Club, Celta Vigo and Sevilla breathing down their necks. Pellegrini and his players will be determined for a swift response here after losing their latest La Liga fixture at home to Barcelona in a thrilling 5-3 contest.
Betis were able to pick themselves up in Europe, however, as on Thursday they were 3-1 winners at Dinamo Zagreb in the Uefa Europa League, so I do believe this will have a positive impact on them heading into this clash with Rayo.
Antony was on the scoresheet in that contest, as he was in the defeat to Barcelona, so he is in a good run of form coming into this contest and he is someone the visitors will be looking to for inspiration in the final third.
The Brazilian has five goals in La Liga so far, Cucho Hernandez has six, while the creative Pablo Fornals has been the provider on four occasions. Betis are rocking up with a lot of attacking quality, which does not bode well for the hosts, who are struggling to find the back of the net.
It may not be routine, but I am confident that Betis will come out on top here.
