Kosovo vs Switzerland Prediction: Nati to clinch top spot in Group B

The curtain closes on Group B in Uefa's World Cup qualification campaign this Tuesday, with Kosovo and Switzerland facing off against each other at Stadiumi Fadil Vokrri in Pristina (19:45). Kosovo can still finish level on points with leaders Switzerland, but they would need to win by a six-goal margin to overtake Nati and qualify directly for next year's World Cup finals.
Below are my Kosovo vs Switzerland predictions, supported by all the latest team news and match odds.

Team News
Kosovo head coach Franco Foda could name an unchanged starting XI, following last Saturday's 2-0 win in Slovenia, where Hoffenheim forward Fisnik Asllani opened the scoring.
Juventus attacker Edon Zhegrova remained rooted to the bench in Ljubljana, so it will be interesting to see whether he is handed any game time on Tuesday.
Switzerland also appear to have a fully-fit squad, which could result in boss Murat Yakin sticking to the same side as Saturday, when they thrashed Sweden 4-1 in Geneva.
Freiburg midfielder Johan Manzambi did his chances of starting no harm, though, as he came off the bench in the 85th minute against the Swedes and rounded off the scoring in the fourth minute of stoppage time.
Kosovo vs Switzerland Predicted Lineups
- Kosovo: Saipi; Dellova, Rrahmani, Hajdari; Vojvoda, Rexhbecaj, Avdullahu, Gallapeni; Muslija; Muriqi, Asllani
- Switzerland: Kobel; Widmer, Elvedi, Akanji, Rodriguez; Aebischer, Xhaka; Vargas, Rieder, Ndoye; Embolo
Kosovo, who have won their last two qualifiers, are 5/1, or a 16.7% chance, to record a first-ever victory over Switzerland, who are 4/7 (63.6%) to make it five wins from six in Group B.
The draw is priced at 3/1, both teams to score at 10/11, and over 2.5 total goals also at 10/11.
Kosovo vs Switzerland Stats
- KOS are unbeaten in their last four qualifiers (W3, D1)
- KOS have kept four consecutive clean sheets
- SWI drew their last away game (0-0 v SWE)
- KOS' last four matches have featured two or fewer goals
Double Chance - Kosovo or Draw @ 13/10
Switzerland, unbeaten in Group B (W4, D1), won September's reverse fixture 4-0 in Basel, and are yet to lose to Kosovo.
The first three head-to-heads all finished level, though, with a 2-2 draw sandwiched between a couple of 1-1 stalemates.
Kosovo's only defeat of the campaign was that loss at St. Jakob-Park on matchday one, as they won three of their next four (D1).
The Dardanians haven't conceded a single goal since Breel Embolo rounded off the scoring for the Swiss in the 45th minute of that victory in Basel, keeping four consecutive clean sheets.
At home, they have beaten Sweden (2-0) and drawn to Slovenia (0-0), and they head into this contest on the back of a 2-0 win in Slovenia.
The Swiss are rightly favourites to win this game, but they were held to a 0-0 draw on their last away trip to Slovenia last month (0-0), and given they only need to avoid a really heavy defeat to finish first, will they be that motivated to go and win this match?
At 13/10, I think we're getting decent value on Kosovo, who haven't lost on home soil since September 2024, in the Double Chance market.

Total Goals - Under 2.5 @ 10/11
Kosovo lost their opening qualifier 4-0 in Switzerland, but their last four games in Group B have all finished with two or fewer goals.
Under 2.5 goals, meanwhile, has been a winning selection in two of Switzerland's last three matches, and their last two away from home.
Nati can clinch first even with a low-scoring defeat, so I can't imagine they will be going all out for the win on Tuesday, committing too many men forwards, and given they have kept four clean sheets in the group, conceding just once, they will be confident of recording another shutout.
Kosovo have also kept four clean sheets in this qualification campaign, so this is a meeting of two good defences.
