With three games left to play in the Championship, West Bromwich Albion are five points clear of the relegation zone. The Baggies take on Watford at The Hawthorns on Tuesday (19:45 BST, Sky Sports+) as they have the opportunity to maintain their second-tier status.

Watford have lost three of their past four matches in the league coming into this contest. Read on for my West Brom vs Watford predictions, aided by the latest team news and match odds.

Team News

West Brom boss James Morrison may be tempted to keep the same team that won at Preston North End on Saturday. Daryl Dike did score in that game, so he will likely be pushing for a start in attack.

Karlan Grant and Chris Mepham are expected to remain on the bench given their recent returns from injury lay-offs.

Football Odds

Marc Bola, Giorgi Chakvetadze and Luca Kjerrumgaard could all be considered to start for Watford given the Hornets' five-game winless run. Stephen Mfuni and Rocco Vata are still injury doubts for the visitors.

West Brom vs Watford Predicted Lineups

West Brom vs Watford Odds

West Brom are deemed the 5/6 favourites to win by Betfred, and they have won three of their previous six outings in the league.

Three of their past four fixtures have been draws, with the stalemate here on offer at 5/2.

Watford are 10/3 to come away with the three points, like they did in October's reverse fixture.

Albion's Dike is a 7/4 bet to score for the second successive match.

 West Brom vs Watford Stats

  • Watford have failed to score in their 2 most recent fixtures
  • Under 2.5 Goals has struck in each of the last 3 games for both clubs heading into Tuesday

Today's Football Fixtures

Which Team To Score - Only West Brom @ 15/8

A win, as well as other results going their way can ensure West Brom play Championship football for another year. Under Ryan Mason and Eric Ramsay, the Baggies looked like a team in turmoil, but Morrison has stepped up in their time of need to turn the ship around.

He's doing everything right to get given the job on a full-time basis in the summer, but for now he maintains driven to keeping Albion in the second tier. A valuable win at Preston has set the Baggies up nicely for their home clash with Watford.

The hosts have won three of their last six games, and each of those victories came with a clean sheet. Watford are five matches without a win and they have blanked in their two most recent fixtures heading to the West Midlands.

At 15/8 (implied probability of 34.8%), punters will find good value in backing just West Brom to score.

Total Goals - Under 2.5 @ 4/5

Following on from my first selection, I think this can lead to a low-scoring contest at The Hawthorns. Under 2.5 Goals looks an attractive bet because it has landed in both Albion and Watford's past three league games coming into Tuesday.

This has also been a winning selection in five of West Brom's previous seven matches on home turf in the Championship. The hosts look a lot more organised defensively under Morrison, but there is still work to be done in the final third.
