Team News

The U's appear to have no fresh injury concerns following their 1-0 defeat at Derby County at the weekend.

Poland international Przemyslaw Placheta remains a long-term absentee for United due to a hamstring injury that will see him miss the remainder of the Championship campaign for Matt Bloomfield's side.

As for the visitors, Tuesday's game will come too soon for the pair of Liberato Cacace and Ben Sheaf, who remain on the sidelines due to injury.

Manager Phil Parkinson might be tempted to bring in fresh legs following their efforts at the weekend and has the likes of Lewis O'Brien, Nathan Broadhead and Kieffer Moore at his disposal.

Today's Football Fixtures

Wrexham to win @ 6/4

Getting back to winning ways with a crucial three points against Stoke City last time out, Wrexham find themselves just two points behind a stuttering Hull City side in sixth place.

Phil Parkinson's side have already beaten Oxford this season, thanks to a 1-0 win at The Racecourse Ground back in October.

The U's have managed just one win in their last six Championship games and it's hard to see them avoiding the drop, with currently five points between themselves and safety.

Wrexham will have taken great confidence from the victory over the Potters and with the play-off places in touching distance, the Red Dragons are good value for the three points on Tuesday evening.

Josh Windass anytime goalscorer @ 11/5

Currently in great form in the Championship, Josh Windass has to be worth considering in the anytime goalscorer market, especially at attractive odds of 11/5.

Windass scored Wrexham's second goal in their 2-0 win over Stoke at the weekend, meaning he's now netted in four of his last five games in the Championship.

The 32-year-old is hitting his goalscoring stride at just the right time of the season and the former Rangers and Sheffield Wednesday star is good value to add to his growing goal tally against the struggling U's.
