Hull City still have a shot at making the top six, but they will likely need to get a positive result when they host Norwich City on Saturday (12:30 BST, Sky Sports+).

Below you can find my Hull vs Norwich predictions featuring team news and more, as the final day of the Championship comes into view.

Hull vs Norwich Betting Tips

  • Norwich to win @ 11/4
  • Mohamed Toure to score anytime @ 15/8

Team News

After losing 2-1 to Charlton, Sergej Jakirovic knows his team needs to produce something on the final day to reach the play-offs. Eliot Matazo came off having suffered an ACL injury early on at the Valley and was replaced by Paddy McNair, while Semi Ajayi was taken off at half-time as the Northen Irishman slotted into the back four.

With more energy needed in attack, Kyle Joseph and Mohamed Belloumi may be handed starts, with Oli McBurnie likely to lead the line as usual. Charlie Hughes hasn’t started the last six Hull games, and with no wins in that time, perhaps he will play again in this one.

Norwich boss Philippe Clement will surely want to finish with a flourish and could bring Ali Ahmed into the team in place of Liam Gibbs as a result. The rest of the team should remain unchanged, with Harry Amass still sidelined with a hamstring injury.

Today's Football Fixtures

Norwich to win @ 11/4

I think all the pressure is on Hull in this game, and I am surprised to see them listed as the odds-on favourites for this game, given what they have produced in recent weeks. Hull are winless in six games, and looked like they had the play-offs in the palm of their hands, but they’ve now fallen outside the top six and a defeat would end their hopes.

A sell-out MKM Stadium awaits, but if Wrexham take an early lead their hopes of a play-off spot will greatly diminish. They can still overtake them if they beat their result by one or more goal, but I just can’t see it happening. Norwich have lost just two of their last 10, against Ipswich and Southampton, and have been one of the best teams in the division since the turn of the year. I’ll back them to break Hull down in brutal fashion.

Mohamed Toure to score anytime @ 15/8

I can’t believe we are still getting these odds on Mohamed Toure to score anytime for Norwich, but while they are available, I will back him every single week. Since joining in January he has been a revelation, hitting eight goals in 10 appearances, with only six of those being starts.

Four goals in his last three games, and two Norwich hat-tricks already speak of his ability, so I think he will be able to take advantage of an unconvincing Hull City defence at a big price.
