Team News
Despite being the Swiss champions, Thun have got work to do to rebuild their squad. Franz-Ethan Meichtry has left for Genoa, Elmin Rastoder has joined Panathinaikos and Mathias Tomas departed for Puebla.
Nassim Zoukit, Dorian Derbici (FC Aarau) and Nico Maier (Blau Weiss Linz) have all been acquired to boost the hosts' ranks for the upcoming campaign.
Genis Montello is ruled out through injury but Marco Burki is available despite having a domestic suspension.
Dinamo Zagreb have also had to deal with departing stars as Sandro Kulenovic, Marko Soldo and Gonzalo Villar have all moved on this summer.
After scoring 31 league goals last season, Dion Drena Beljo is set to lead the line for the visitors.
Thun vs Dinamo Zagreb Predicted Lineups
- Thun: Steffen; Heule, Burki, Bamert, Fehr; Reichmuth, Roth, Kait; Labeau, Dursun, Maier
- Dinamo Zagreb: Filipovic; Valincic, Dominguez, Galesic, Goda; Misic, Zajc; Bakrar, Vidovic, Orsic; Beljo
Betfred is leaning towards the visitors, who are a 19/20 bet to win this first leg.
Thun are 23/10 to prevail on home turf, while it's 13/5 for the stalemate.
Three of Dinamo Zagreb's four pre-season friendlies have gone Over 2.5 Goals, which is marketed at 4/6 on this occasion.
Thun vs Dinamo Zagreb Stats
- Dinamo Zagreb have won 3 of their last 4 matches
- Thun are without a win in their past 2 outings
- Each of Thun's previous 6 fixtures have seen both teams find the net
Match Result - Dinamo Zagreb @ 19/20
Dinamo are far more experienced than their hosts when it comes to European experience, notably in Champions League qualifiers. I think this will be the difference in Switzerland on Tuesday night.
The Blues have looked sharp in pre-season with three wins from four outings, while they're also 22 games unbeaten in all competitions. They've also scored 16 goals in the process. Thun are winless in their past two fixtures and so I think the Croatian outfit should come out on top in this first leg.

Both Teams To Score - Yes @ 4/7
Thun's matches are experiencing a trend at the moment in which both teams are finding the net. This has been the case in each of the hosts' last six matches and I see this continuing when Dinamo Zagreb come to town.
The Blues have seen BTTS - Yes strike in six of their 10 most recent competitive games, and at 4/7 (implied probability of 63.6%), I believe this is a punt worth considering.

Thun vs Dinamo Zagreb Score Prediction
- Thun 1-2 Dinamo Zagreb
With the amount of experience that they've had at this level, I'm backing Dinamo Zagreb to take the lead in this tie ahead of next week's clash in Croatia. I think they have more quality within their ranks and this should translate out on the pitch.
