Al Hilal vs Al Ahli Prediction: Another two for Toney as Jaissle’s side continue title charge

Al Ahli can go level on points at the top of the Saudi Professional League with a victory over current leaders Al Hilal on Monday (17:30 GMT). The visitors arrive to Kingdom Arena in sensational form, having won their last eight games, while their hosts will be looking to return to winning ways after back-to-back draws with Al Riyadh (1-1) and Al Qadsiah (2-2).
Below are my Al Hilal vs Al Ahli predictions, supported by all the latest team news and match odds, ahead of this crunch clash in Riyadh.
Al Hilal vs Al Ahli Betting Tips
- Player to Score Two or More Goals - Ivan Toney (AHL) @ 15/2
- Double Chance & Both Teams To Score - Draw or Al Ahli & Yes @ 13/8

Team News
Kalidou Koulibaly and Yusuf Akcicek (both unspecified) look likely to miss out again for Al Hilal due to injury, and head coach Simone Inzaghi could make at least one change to his starting XI following back-to-back stalemates, with Brazilian forward Marcos Leonardo, who has scored nine goals in 15 Saudi Pro League appearances this season, most likely to earn a promotion from the bench.
As for Al Ahli, Hussein Zakaria, Ali Majrashi and Abdullah Otayf (unspecified) remain sidelined.
Boss Matthias Jaissle could stick with the starting XI that beat Al Ettifaq 4-0 last Wednesday, when Ivan Toney hit his second hat-trick in his last three games.
Al Hilal vs Al Ahli Predicted Lineups
- Al Hilal: Bono; Al Yami, Tambakti, Mari, Hernandez; Malcom, Neves, Milinkovic-Savic, Al Dawsari; Nunez, Marcos Leonardo
- Al Ahli: Mendy; Hamed, Ibanez, Kessie; Abdulrahman; Atangana Edoa, Aljohani, Galeno; Mahrez, Millot; Toney
Al Hilal, who failed to win any of the three head-to-heads in 2025, are 4/5 favourites to collect all three points on Monday, implying a 55.6% probability of success, while Al Ahli are 11/4, or a 26.7% chance, to record their 10th consecutive win.
In September, the two teams drew 2-2 in Jeddah, and a second stalemate of the league season can be backed at 13/5, while both teams to score, which has been a winning selection in the previous 10 meetings, is offered at 1/2.
Al Hilal vs Al Ahli Stats
- Leading SPL marksman Toney (AHL) has scored 2+ goals in three of his last seven games
- Both teams have scored in the last 10 H2Hs
- AHL are unbeaten in the last three H2Hs (W2, D1)
Player to Score Two or More Goals - Ivan Toney (AHL) @ 15/2
Former Brentford striker Toney scored 23 goals in 30 league appearances during his debut campaign for Al Ahli, but his second season in Saudi Arabia has already been more impressive.
In just 17 Saudi Pro League games, the 29-year-old has struck 18 times, which includes 12 goals this calendar year alone.
Toney has scored in his last eight matches, and in three of those, he has scored at least twice.
The England international hit two hat-tricks last month, against Al Khaleej and Al Ettifaq, and also scored a brace against title contenders Al Nassr.
Toney is in magnificent form, and having scored twice in last season's corresponding fixture, a 3-2 success for Al Ahli in February 2025, and notching another couple in September's reverse head-to-head to take his tally to five goals in four games against Al Hilal, he should be confident of taking the Blue Waves to task again on Monday.
Al Hilal have conceded in their last five games and were breached twice by Al Qadsiah last Thursday, so there are certainly vulnerabilities in their defence that Toney can exploit.

Double Chance & Both Teams To Score - Draw or Al Ahli & Yes @ 13/8
Both teams to score has landed in the last 10 head-to-heads, as well as in Al Hilal's last five games, so that's a selection I'm confident in.
To up the odds, though, I'm adding in Draw or Al Ahli in the Double Chance market.
The visitors are in fine form, winning their last nine matches, last tasting defeat away to Al Fateh (2-1) on December 26.
Al Hilal, meanwhile, have failed to take maximum points in their last two contests, albeit both were away from home and they've won eight of their nine league games this season, drawing the other.
Al Ahli, though, triumphed at this ground twice last season, once in the Saudi Pro League, and once in the semi-finals of the AFC Champions League, and Draw or Al Ahli & BTTS-Yes has been a winning selection in four of the last five meetings (in regulation time), including all three last year.
