Sheffield United have fallen a long way below expectations in the Championship this season but they have recorded back-to-back victories over Hull and Watford and look keen to sign off the campaign on a high.

There is more at stake for Blackburn, who are 21st in the Championship standings and started the slate of midweek fixtures five points clear of the relegation places. A positive result for Rovers would go a long way to securing survival and a 1-1 draw at home to promoted Coventry last time out suggests that they are up for the fight.
