Friday Greyhound Tips: We’re all over Suffolk Downs this afternoon

It’s Friday, which can mean only one thing; Suffolk Downs graded action, over two and four-bends. Here's three we hope will do us proud this afternoon.

1 pt 14:26 Suffolk Downs – Blackrose Niko (T5) @ SP

At 14:26 in a race lacking early pace, look out for wide seed BLACKROSE DANI who lines up from T5. The Jason Ray-trained November 2020 veteran is not getting any younger, but he’s still more than capable of taking a race like this.

Last time out, the greybeard made all over the two-bend 220-metre trip, winning by over four lengths in 14.25. Today, on his return to four-bend action, he could get a soft lead.

If that happens, he will prove hard to peg back. Debutants Hawkfield Impact (T2) and Slipalong Don (T4), both from the Paul Rea kennel, are worth noting in the market. How Ye Laci (T3) returns to action following her season.

This could come a little too soon but she's worth keeping an eye on as her form improves over the coming weeks.

1 pt 15:03 Suffolk Downs – Hes Dynamite (T2) @ SP

The A6 graded race at 15:03 over the four-bend 388-metre trip can go to early-paced railer HES DYNAMITE from T2. Back in mid-January, the June 2024 son of Ballymac Cashout won well in this grade from off the pace and since then he’s been campaigned in higher grade.

The Racing Manager has surprisingly dropped Hes Dynamite back into A6 company following a second-placed effort in A4 and then A5 in recent weeks. Today, it's all eyes on the boxes. If Hes Dynamite brings his trapping boots and leads round, he can kick half a dozen clear, and this should be all over bar the shouting.

Savana Red Bull (T5) can chase the selection home and fill the forecast spot. Hawkfield Kopek (T1) is worth noting on debut. Significant support would hint that a big run is expected from the May 2024 son of Koblenz.

1 pt 15:41 Suffolk Downs – Rapido Auz (T1) @ SP

Next up at Suffolk Downs is RAPIDO AUZ who runs from T1 in the two-bend 220 metre D3 graded sprint at 15:41. The Michelle Brown-trained July 2022 daughter of Pestana is a consistent course and distance performer with a win and two seconds in her last five runs.

This afternoon it's all on the break and run into the first bend. If Rapido Auz holds the rails, she will prove hard to beat. Daisys Blueboy is an interesting runner from T3. Better known as a four-bend performer, the June 2024 youngster is open to improvement now dropped in trip, and it could prove to be a distance that suits the early-paced runner.

Oh El Nido (T2) mixes it in two and four-bend action around Suffolk Downs. He looks well-drawn to follow the pace and fill the forecast spot.
