Saturday Greyhound Tips: Three to watch from Doncaster

A trio of trap one selections from Doncaster this evening on a competitive mixed card featuring five open races. At 18:29 look out for early-paced railer TOMMYS DOLLY, who lines up from T1 in the D3 graded sprint over the two-bend 275-metre trip.

The Susan Watson-trained September 2023 daughter of Jaytee Taylor is in flying form of late with two course and distance wins on the bounce in 17.45 and 17.34. Tonight, Tommys Dolly will attempt to land his hat-trick, and it all hinges on what happens at the boxes.

If Tommys Dolly traps in best fashion and holds the rails, she can lead round and make all. Cockneys Else (T2) bolted up last time out and rates as a danger. Grouchos Game (T6) looks well-drawn as the solo wide seed and could attract support.

The A2 graded race at 19:58 over the four-bend 483-metre trip can go to well-drawn railer SWIFT JEROMO in T1. The James Gaskin-trained August 2022 son of Broadstrand Bono returned to action recently following a brief layoff.

Two runs over the four-bend 450-metre trip in recent weeks would have blown away the cobwebs, and he should be spot on now and ready to win. Theres plenty of pace middle to wide in this race, but if Jeromo holds the rails and turns on the tail of the leaders its race on down the back straight.

Ballymac Hanson will attempt to make all from T5 and rates as a huge danger. Chelms Elaine (T6) led round last time out but folded tamely. She’s better than that run and would be a danger to all with a ping break. Bangon Teddy (T3) will be staying on well looking to pick up the pieces, he’s worth including in forecast bets.
