Bologna vs AC Milan Prediction: Tomori the target again for I Rossoblu

AC Milan, trailing city rivals and Serie A leaders Inter by eight points, head to the Stadio Renato Dall'Ara on Tuesday (19:45 GMT, live on Betfred.com), looking to reduce the gap at the top by beating a floundering Bologna, who have lost four of their last six league games (W1, D1).
Below are my Bologna vs AC Milan predictions, supported by all the latest team news and match odds.

Team News
Bologna goalkeeper Lukasz Skorupski, making his first league appearance since November 9, was sent off in his side's 3-2 loss at Genoa on January 25, so the 34-year-old is serving a suspension against Milan.
Fedrico Ravaglia, who has featured 12 times in Serie A this season, matching his number of appearances in the previous campaign, will deputise for the Polish shot-stopper on Tuesday.
Colombian defender Jhon Lucumi (hamstring) looks set to miss out for the sixth consecutive match, but otherwise, head coach Vincenzo Italiano appears to have a fully fit squad available to him.
AC Milan counterpart Massimiliano Allegri, meanwhile, is without Mexican striker Santiago Gimenez (ankle) and Belgian wing-back Alexis Saelemaekers (muscle), the latter of whom spent the 2023/24 season on loan at Bologna.
Christian Pulisic (muscle) is also a doubt for I Rossoneri.
Bologna vs AC Milan Predicted Lineups
- Bologna: Ravaglia; Zortea, Vitik, Heggem, Miranda; Freuler, Pobega; Orsolini, Odgaard, Dominguez; Castro
- AC Milan: Maignan; Tomori, Gabbia, De Winter; Athekame, Ricci, Modric, Rabiot, Bartesaghi; Fullkrug, Leao
Bologna won last season's corresponding fixture 2-1 in February 2025, and I Rossoblu are 5/2, or a 28.6% chance, to triumph again on home soil, while AC Milan are 11/10, implying a 47.6% probability of success, to do the double over their opponents, having claimed a 1-0 victory at San Siro in September.
The draw is offered at 23/10, both teams to score at 4/5, and over 2.5 total goals at 1/1.
Bologna vs AC Milan Stats
- Tomori (MIL) has been booked in his last two apps v BOL
- MIL are unbeaten in their last 21 Serie A games (W13, D8)
- BOL have won just one of their last 10 league matches (D3, L6)
Player to Receive a Card - Fikayo Tomori (MIL) @ 18/5
Both of Milan's wing-backs, Saelemaekers and Pervis Estupinan, were booked in September's reverse fixture at San Siro, and one of I Rossoneri's back three, right-sided centre-back Fikayo Tomori, was also cautioned.
Estupinan was booked for fouling Bologna centre-forward Santiago Castro, while left-winger Nicolo Cambiaghi, upended a whopping seven times in 74 minutes, attracted yellow-card challenges from Saelemaekers and Tomori.
Only Lazio's Mattia Zacagni (68) and Cagliari's Marco Palestra (65) have been fouled more times in Serie A this season than Cambiaghi (50), who is averaging four fouls won per 90 minutes, and even if the Italian doesn't start on Tuesday - I expect him to come off the bench in the second half - he has shown previously that he doesn't need long to give defenders the runaround.
Benjamin Dominguez, who started Bologna's last league game, providing an assist, is probably more likely to get the nod from the off, and the Argentine winger has proven to be tough to contain himself, winning 11 fouls in 10 Serie A outings this term at an average of 2.4 per 90.
Fellow winger Jonathan Rowe, who has also played from the left, is averaging 2.9 fouls won per 90, while other attackers who could start on Tuesday include Castro and Riccardo Orsolini, who are both averaging 1.9 fouls won per 90.
So, Milan's defenders could be up against it here, and Tomori, whose four yellow cards this season include one against Bologna for a foul on Cambiaghi, is my pick to go into the referee's notebook at the Stadio Renato Dall'Ara.
The 28-year-old, who is averaging 1.1 fouls per 90 in Serie A this season, has been booked in his last two appearances against I Rossoblu, also receiving a yellow in Milan's 1-0 Coppa Italia semi-final defeat in Bologna last May, when he committed four fouls.

Double Chance & Both Teams To Score - Draw or AC Milan & Yes @ 5/4
Only AS Roma (13) have conceded fewer goals in Serie A this season than Milan (17), but Allegri's side have only kept one clean sheet in their last five games and have been breached in all of their last three away from San Siro.
Remarkably, though, Milan are unbeaten in the league since losing in the opening round of fixtures to Cremonese (1-2) on August 23, winning 13 and drawing eight of their next 21 matches. Away from home, I Rossoneri have won six and drawn five of their 11 games, with both teams scoring in six of their last eight.
Bologna, meanwhile, have only won one of their last 10 Serie A contests, and that was a scrappy 3-2 win at Hellas Verona on January 15. Their last home victory in the league was back on November 9 against Napoli (2-0), with four defeats and one draw following that success.
Both teams have scored in their last four league games, and backing BTTS-Yes and their opponents in the Double Chance market has been a winning selection in five of their last seven in Serie A.
