Team News
PAOK remain without injured goalkeeper Jiri Pavlenka (ribs), while Luka Ivanusec (toe), Soualiho Meite (ankle), Kiril Despodov and Giannis Konstantelias (both illness) could all miss out, too.
With Antony (groin), as well as Cucho Hernandez (unspecified), Isco (ankle) and Cedric Bakambu (suspended) all sidelined, Abde Ezzalzouli, who started Morocco's Africa Cup of Nations final defeat to Senegal last Sunday, could make an instant return to Manuel Pellegrini's starting XI in Thessaloniki.
Junior Firpo, Hector Bellerin (both muscle) and Sofyan Amrabat (ankle) are also expected to miss out on Thursday for Real Betis.

Player to Receive a Card - Magomed Ozdoev (PAO) @ 12/5
PAOK midfielder Magomed Ozdoev, who missed his side’s 3-0 Greek Super League victory over OFI Crete last Sunday as he was serving a suspension, has been booked three times in nine Europa League outings, including qualifiers, this season.
The 33-year-old is averaging 1.9 fouls per 90 in the competition, and on Thursday, he’s likely to be in a midfield battle with Giovani Lo Celso, who is averaging 2.6 and 3.1 fouls won per 90, respectively, in the 2025/26 Europa League and La Liga.
Fellow midfielders Nelson Deossa, Rodrigo Riquelme and Sergi Altimira are averaging 3.2, 1.8 and one foul won per 90, respectively, in Europe, so Ozdoev could have his hands full with whoever starts in the Betis engine room.
An opposition midfielder has been booked in three of Betis’ last four Europa League games, and Ozdoev looks like the most likely of PAOK’s to be booked on Thursday.

Match Result - Draw @ 12/5
Betis are unbeaten in Europe this season, winning four and drawing two of their league-phase games, and their four defeats in 2025/26, all in La Liga, have come against Champions League clubs: Real Madrid, FC Barcelona, Atletico Madrid and Athletic Club.
The Spanish side have drawn eight of their 16 away games in all competitions, including two of their last four.
PAOK, meanwhile, have lost just one of their league-phase matches (3-1 at Celta Vigo), winning twice and drawing three times.
At home, PAOK have drawn with Maccabi Tel Aviv (0-0) and Brann (1-1), either side of a 4-0 thrashing of Young Boys, and Razvan Lucescu’s side are yet to taste defeat in 18 games across all competitions at the Toumba Stadium this season.
PAOK have drawn their last two European contests, against Brann and Ludogorets (3-3), and while Betis represent a step up, or two, in class, it’s difficult to ignore the home side’s record in Thessaloniki, alongside the visitors’ lengthy absentee list, so a draw sounds about right here, which wouldn’t be catastrophic for either side.
