T5 (Burrows Eclipse) 21:23 Yarmouth @ SP

We step back up to six bends this evening after staying on performances over four bends here in the East Anglian derby. A distance of 462m wasn't likely to suit us and this six bend trip will find us more at home. I make this race a match with us and T1.

T1 is our main danger and has solid form over both four and six bends. Good draw on the rails but I do feel we are the stronger competitor and on split times alone should gain first run on this runner. That will be key.

T2 is consistent over both trip. Not quick enough to trouble us and T1 considering their end times over six bends here in races. May go off a big price this evening.

T3 really wants the rails so will be trying to edge across on the run up and first bend, mixes both distances but has six-to-eight lengths to find on us and T1. That will be difficult to do. Not for me.

T4 will go off one of the outsiders for this contest tonight. No worthwhile form over this far to suggest this dog will land a blow.

T6 always seems to go off a big price. Running well but a little off most of the field. Again, I see a big price for this runner and will need lots of trouble to get involved.

So to us in T5, we have an ideal launch pad between slow starters and we can boss this race from the start. We are too quick overall for tonight's field. We just need to come away and gain a clear run. If we do we can win this race by multiple lengths with T1 staying on into the second. I make this runner my bet of the day.

T3 (Newinn Cloud) 20:13 Yarmouth @ SP

We did very well to overcome traffic spots last week, even after not running the bends too well. We were still too good for the re-opposing T6 runner this evening. With that run under our belt we can run the track better tonight and win with more authority.

T1 is a top grade four bend runner. Led for most of the way last week but was eventually run out of things close to home by T5. Again, I see this runner leading for the majority of the race. But with slow ground being forecast, I think that that will sap his stamina quicker than normal. The strong stayers will get to him earlier under these conditions.

T2 won her heat last week when just holding on during the run in to beat T4. Time wise has a bit to find with the four other runners tonight. Not for me.

T4 only just failed by a neck to reel in T2 last week. Running well but tonight may be a step too far in this final. I can see T5 or T6 beating him.

T5 led run in last week and the forecasted slow ground can aid this one's running style. I make him our main danger. I just think we have the class to beat this whole field with this runner being second in.

T6 led all bar the line from a quick break in the heats for this final. Picked up by us even after we got into a lot of trouble. Again, I see this runner prominent but this distance stretches his stamina. I see him being collared in the second half of this contest.

So back to us in T3, we will have to track clever around the first couple of bends. But if we can secure a clear passage our overall times and running style will mean we come through in the second half of this contest. With all this rain getting into the track surface and making it deep, that will suit a strong stayer rather than an early paced type. I'm that confident I make this runner my max bet.
