T3 (Droopys Marie) 19:44 Sunderland @ SP

We step back into graded action this evening after having a successful spell handicapping over the last few months since arriving from Ireland. The end times we have been running over the staggered start will be very competitive in tonight's race.

T1 won five of her last six over both graded and handicaps. But time wise does have a bit to find with us in a clear run contest. However, this dog does have a good draw on the rails and is in form. This is the hardest race this runner will have competed in but could be on the up. Will need to find three or four lengths to match us.

T2 looks like the early pace element in the race and looks sure to lead T1 and us. But that will give us more room to turn handy at the first bend.

T4 is another early paced type who will be battling out with T2 for the lead. Overall times consistent but a couple of lengths slower than our recent times and will probably need a PB run to win tonight.

T5 had been off since May until last week's return. Ran really well and is the main danger to us tonight. I can't see this runner clearing the T4 on the run up and at the first bend. I could see her being crowded wider than ideal. However, if clearing the pace, could be a massive player.

T6 is a pretty new runner to the track since arriving from Ireland. Has yet to land a blow and challenge for the win. But money has been floating around, especially last week when well-backed. I don't think this dog will win tonight but one to watch in the coming weeks when dropped down to A6.

So to us in T3, ideal launchpad to track the pace angle into bends one and two, before moving through the gears and challenging by the third bend. Once doing that we can prove too strong on the run in to win this race going away. Very confident of a big run.

We have recently just been downgraded to this A5 grade, our overall finishing times are very consistent. Looking at the other runners in this contest we are quicker on-average than each of them. We are going to have to come through the field but I do see a good race make up for us to work with.

T1 is our main danger today. We did beat this runner last week after being crowded at the first bend. Prior to this, this dog did win from the front in an A6. Time wise still has a couple of lengths to find on us and I see us gaining a better run this afternoon.

T2 is stepping up from sprinting. Won last week but didn't look like he was crying out for four bends. I watched after the line to the trip and wasn't pulling away so may be prominent early on and then weaken second half of the race.

T3 is very slow into stride and it will be key to our chances that we lead this runner up. I can see this one being a big price this afternoon and will have to come from last to first to figure.

T5 has good early pace and had this been back in July would've been very competitive today. However, this dog has been off and since return seems to have struggled. Form not great and again today I can't see this runner landing a blow.

T6 won in the lower grade and has been pretty consistent at the A6 level. This is harder and time wise has a few lengths to find with us and T1. On that basis I can't see this runner challenging us.

So to us in T4, I see T2 and maybe T5 leading up and us turning maybe fourth in this. As long as we lead T3 we should get a good toe into the race and can come through strongly off the last bend to catch the leaders and win going away. With a clear run we are two or three lengths quicker than todays field. Confident choice.
