Monday Greyhound Tips: Trap2Line offers up a pair of Nottingham picks

Monday should not leave you blue. Even New Order didn't want that. It's why they made a huge dance tune with the most memorable synth riff ever invented. 

But if you are feeling a little off-colour this morning, Trap2Line is here with two picks from Monday's greyhound racing at Nottingham.

21:11 Nottingham - T5 (Newinn Bachelor) @ SP

We return to the track this evening after a two-month break, but showed all is well with a speedy trial last week at Monmore. We have good form over course and distance and what looks like a really good race make up for this evening's contest. Drawn outsider is a railer in T4 so we are going to get lots of room down the middle to pace up and clear the field by the bend.

T1: No match for the best sprinter in the country last week. But did lead that one on the run to the bend, so does have early pace. Maybe crowded by T2 early on in as that runner is a bang railer. They will be coming across all the way to the bend.

T2: Top grade Monmore raider comes here in good form at home circuit and is one of the tightest railers at that track. That could spell trouble for the inside runner tonight.

T3: Has been running here the last few weeks but tonight is going to get a terrible time on the run up. Crowding is inevitable sadly with four railers in the race so I can't see this one getting a clear run.

T4: Terrible draw and will be turning left out of the traps, so will cause crowding for inside runners. That will pave the way for us to pace up and clear.

T6: Another Monmore runner that has never raced or trialled here so will no doubt run off at the first bend. There is a lot of negatives for the majority of the field bar us.

So to us in T5, we like the draw and are going to also get lots of room to pace up. We have good form here and can add to that with a win on our return to the track. Confident choice.

21:45 Nottingham - T3 (Borna Parachute) @ SP

Steep drop in grade for us this evening after running against the country's best six-bend runners over the last month or so and comes here to this dual distance trophy after narrowly failing to get up in a 750m open at Romford. No dogs of that calibre feature in tonights field and we can safely book our ticket in next weeks final with an impressive performance tonight.

T1: Has won for us the last couple of weeks but lacks that crucial bit of early pace and could be found wanting in that department again. Is the main danger still to us as drawn on the inside but I feel tonight will come off second best in a clean run contest.

T2: In same race as T1 last week, crowded initial bend and then outpaced for majority of race. Did close in latter stages but winner was gone beyond recall. Again another that is slow into their stride.

T4: Very lightly raced at Monmore and  has recently been stepped up to six bends. We are going to have to look lively at the start as this runner really wants the rails and will be coming across all the way to the bend, I'm hoping to be clear if this rival on the run up.

T5: Plot draw on the outside but the fact this runner isn't in great form negates that a bit. If there was loads of bad crowding however, this runner will have a solo out-wide and could spring up at a price. But I see a clean run contest and this one not being quick enough.

T6: Vacant 

So to us in T3, even though we aren't renowned for early pace I feel we may just lead this race tonight as we have lots of four-bend form. That will stand us in good stead. If we do lead round then we will just pull further and further clear. Everything points to a max bet for me as we have so much going for us in tonight's race.
