Thursday Greyhounds Tips: Inside track on two tonight from Hove

T1 (Scooby Pacemaker) Hove 19:33 @ SP

We have recently been knocked out at the second round stage of the Greyhound Derby, unluckily may I add, coming to challenge but forced to check at the fourth bend.

Returned to this course 12 days later and ran second behind an improving sort. Steps back to 500m tonight and we have a good draw to work from - and in my view against inferior rivals.

How I see the race being run - T2 is a mid-to-wide runner from videos I've watched, so we are going to have acres of space on the rails and also on the run-up to pace up and clear this runner by the first bend.

T3 has a similar early running style, more mid-to-wide than T2 so these runners could come together in the early stages, thus ruining their chances.

T4 is a railer, unsure how it's been drawn in T4, will turn left at trap rise and 100% will cause crowding to both T2 and T3.  No T5.

T6 will be our danger, and this race can turn into a match race as we both have our draws. With no T5 to concern it T6 will have a solo in the outside like we will have a solo on the inside.

I feel we will get the better run around the opening couple of bends, and can kick clear for the win.

T2 (Art Riddler) 20:41 Hove @ SP

A favourite of mine and mixes both four and six-bend races, has amazing pace in the clear but is clumsy when dogs are round him on the bends and doesn't always make the best of decisions when challenging.

However; tonight that is helped by there only being four runners, we are the quickest in the line-up, and could be more prominent than usual this evening.

How I see the race being run - T1 has been finding trouble spots recently but came good with a quicker break latest and made all for a good win. This is harder and I can't see the same type of trip for this runner tonight.

T3 does prefer a draw closer to the fence but overall form does bring him into this and will be second in to us in a clean-run contest, will be prominent from the outset, but will be run out of it late on when we come with a wet sail.

T4 can put pace to this race but doesn't stay this far at full race speed, will lead for a lap or more, but we can come through by the sixth bend to win this race going away.

Confident choice.
