Thursday Greyhounds Tips: Two selections from Hove

Our man Trap2Line, is back with his greyhound tips for Thursday, May 1.

We're off to Hove for today's selections - read all about them and their chances below.

19:49 Hove - Robbies Galaxy (T3) @ SP

Recent Irish recruit arrived on these shores with a big reputation. He let himself down at Oxford in the Hunt Cup, where instead of running on seemed to weaken and didn't take to Oxford very well. This will be a different kettle of fish tonight and has trialled in well here last week.

T1 is a railer who shouldn't really be up to this open race grade, and to me will struggle with the upgrade.

T2 is a sprinter, and will put the early pace to the race but weaken in the second half of it. T4 is a middle runner, has good consistent form and will be there to pick the pieces up if we falter.

T6 has a good draw on the outside, being the only wide runner and that can be a benefit in itself, but overall form doesn't compare to our trail last week.

20:59 Hove - Robbies Glory (T3) @ SP

Again another Irish recruit, arrived here early this year and has trialled in here four times in the last 4 weeks over both 2 and 4 bends, some quick sprints recorded and a very quick winning time already recorded at Shelbourne park.

T1 is an Oxford raider over four bends, and has had a look here over two bends last week in a trial. However, time is five lengths slower than what we trailed in.

T2 is a consistent local and main danger to us on form and times.

T5 is a Crayford hurdler and has moved here, running in sprint races since. They'll need to be on his toes early to challenge in this.

T6 is another who has a good draw tonight but I can't see him clearing T5 and us in T3, so I feel will be held up at crucial points in the race.
