Match Betting - Cameron Norrie to beat Brandon Nakashima @ 1/1
A fifth career meeting between Cameron Norrie and Brandon Nakashima awaits in Washington on Thursday, with the former having prevailed in three of their matches so far.
The Brit's form has turned a corner in recent weeks, as he made it to the quarter-finals at Wimbledon, unfortunately losing to Carlos Alcaraz in straight sets. It hasn't deterred him too much as he stunned number two seed Lorenzo Musetti in his last match at the Citi Open on Tuesday after going a set behind.
He looks in good shape for his latest encounter with Nakashima, having not dropped a set in their previous two encounters. His opponent will be hoping to break the cycle on home turf, where he will have the crowd behind him, but in the build up to this match he has not faced as much challenges as Norrie has.
Norrie should have the confidence and momentum to beat Nakashima again and I am backing him to make it three wins on the spin against the 23-year-old American.

Set Betting - Taylor Fritz to beat Matteo Arnaldi 2-0 @ 4/6
Taylor Fritz's semi-final run at Wimbledon has set the American up nicely for the return to the hard court, and his first match back in action in Washington went as you would expect as he cruised past Aleksandar Vukic in straight sets.
The American is in excellent form and he will be pumped up for his clash against Matteo Arnaldi, who did beat the American in their first and only head-to-head meeting in the ATP 500 event in Acapulco last year. The conditions will be similar at the Citi Open but the pace of this surface definitely hands Fritz the advantage given his power.
The world number four has the backing of the home crowd, and he always tends to deliver when playing in the USA, as evidenced by his commanding victory in the previous round. He put up a good fight against Alcaraz at Wimbledon, so Arnaldi on current form should be a piece of cake. I think he will wrap this up in straight sets.

Match Betting - Venus Williams to beat Magdalena Frech @ 11/4
I missed a real trick in terms of value in Venus Williams' victory against fellow American Peyton Stearns in the last round at the Citi Open, and I'm now jumping on the bandwagon.
The seven-time Grand Slam champion is drawn to face the world number 25 Magdalena Frech in Washington and I think an upset could be on the cards. This is a first-ever meeting between the two players and so there are no past experiences to draw upon, which may just play into Williams' hands.
The 45-year-old has rich experience on court that Frech simply cannot compete with. Yes, the Polish star has youth on her side so her movement trumps that of her opponent, but Williams is a serial winner and that can help her to outsmart Frech here.
Frech has also failed to win back-to-back matches in a singles tournament since the Australian Open, so her confidence is not going to be high when facing a legend of Williams' status.
If Williams plays like she did against Stearns, she should make her way into the next round.
