Tennis Betting Tips: Fritz to cruise past Vukic

After Monday's disappointment, Tuesday was a lot more successful with two of my three Tennis Betting Tips landing. I will look to build on this with Wednesday's selections, which come from the events in Washington as well as Kitzbuhel.

Match Betting - Alexander Bublik to beat Thiago Agustin Tirante @ 4/9

Alexander Bublik is enjoying the best period of his career so far. He has won two titles this season, first in Halle where he defeated both the current world number one Jannik Sinner and Daniil Medvedev who had that honour once upon a time.

This success was built on last week as he triumphed in Gstaad and so he should be full of confidence right now. The Kazakh star is in action at Kitzbuhel this week and his campaign begins in the round of 16 against Thiago Agustin Tirante.

Tirante will be wary of the form his opponent is in, but he will also know that Bublik is a player who has struggled for consistency at times, and there may be a sense of fatigue creeping in from his taxing week in Sweden.

However, I think Bublik will be determined to keep his strong form up and even if he isn't quite at 100%, I believe he will have enough to dispatch Tirante on clay, especially if his service game is on point.

Set Betting - Taylor Fritz to beat Aleksandar Vukic 2-0 @ 4/9

In Washington D.C., Taylor Fritz makes his first appearance since his semi-final run at Wimbledon and he delivered an impressive performance against Carlos Alcaraz.

The American is drawn against Aleksandar Vukic in the third round at the Citi Open and he tends to deliver his best stuff on the hard courts in front of home crowds. Vukic enjoys these conditions and the Australian looked sharp in his last match against Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard, but facing Fritz is going to ask a lot more from him on court.

Vukic will need to have answers for his opponents' serve and capitalise on any errors, but following his Wimbledon campaign, Fritz will be fired up for a strong performance back on home soil.

I think he will have too much for Vukic to handle and I believe he will get this contest wrapped up in straight sets.

Match Betting - Maria Sakkari to beat Emma Navarro @ 7/4

Maria Sakkari is hoping to find some consistency after a disappointing 2025 season so far. The 29-year-old has not posted back-to-back victories in the main draw of any event since the Madrid Open in April, so the past few months have been really testing for her.

She delivered a strong performance against Katie Boulter in the first round of the Citi Open, defeating the Brit in straight sets. The Greek star now tussles with home star Emma Navarro in the round of 16, and her wait for consecutive victories could be over.

All three of their head-to-head contests have come on the hard court, with Sakkari currently holding a 2-1 lead. Their last meeting came at Indian Wells last year, with Sakkari coming from a set down to beat her opponent.

Based on recent form, Navarro is the favourite here, but I do think Sakkari can stun the American in front of her home crowd.
