Tennis Betting Tips: Badosa to prove too much for Udvardy once again

After a clean sweep in my latest Tennis Betting Tips on Sunday, I'm hoping to follow up with more success on Thursday as I cast my eye over some of the interesting matches taking place across the WTA Tour.

My two best bets of the day come from the Prague Open and Hamburg Open, and you can check them out below.

Set Betting - Barbora Krejcikova to beat Lucie Havlickova 2-0 @ 2/5

An interesting encounter in Prague awaits as two Czech players meet in the round of 16. Eighteen-year-old Lucie Havlickova takes on two-time Grand Slam champion Barbora Krejcikova.

This is sure to be a spectacle for the home crowd as they watch one their current stars face one for the future. Havlickova was a wildcard but she fared well to defeat Alycia Parks in straight sets last time out. Havlickova saved all of the six break points she faced, so this will give Krejcikova something to think about on Thursday.

Havlickova showed great composure, as did Krejcikova in her own 2-0 victory over Linda Fruhvirtova, so this should be an exciting contest. However, Krejcikova's years of experience should be too much for he compatriot.

The 2024 Wimbledon winner also heads here on a six-game unbeaten streak which saw her land a title in Athens. I'm backing her to win in straight sets here.

Set Betting - Paula Badosa to beat Panna Udvardy 2-0 @ 23/20

Paula Badosa was on an amazing nine-match winning streak earlier this month which saw her claim a Challenger title at Bastad. During that run, she dropped just two sets.

Her run came to an end as she reached the final in Iasi, having to retire a set down against Mayar Sherif. It looked only to be a brief setback, however, as the Spaniard defeated Katarzyna Kawa in straight sets in Hamburg on Wednesday.

She doesn't look to have lost the momentum she's built up this month, so I'm backing her to land a straight-sets victory over Hungarian Panna Udvardy on Thursday. The two met last week in Romania and Badosa won the match 2-0, so I see a repeat happening here.
