Tennis Betting Tips: Tsitsipas to land his first title since March 2025

It's taken 16 months but Stefanos Tsitsipas is about to rediscover the feeling of playing in a final on the ATP Tour. The Greek star is into the showpiece in Gstaad by defeating Alexander Shevchenko on Saturday. He'll now face Belgian Raphael Collignon, who seeks his maiden singles title, on Sunday.

Set Betting - Stefanos Tsitsipas to beat Raphael Collignon 2-1 @ 11/4

Once ranked the third-best player in the world, Tsitsipas has experienced a huge drop off lately, with his current placing at 85. He's a player in need of regaining some confidence, so many will be pleased to see he's qualified for his first final in over a year.

He crashed out of Wimbledon in the second round against Novak Djokovic in straight sets. No one would begrudge Tsitsipas for losing to one of the sport's greatest players, but with how his season has gone so far, it was yet another crushing blow for Tsitsipas.

This past week has been good value for the 27-year-old because with each round he's progressed, we've seen his confidence grow. He's had to overcome some obstacles, with his past three triumphs going the distance, but he's shown his cool in key moments.

In the deciding set against Shevchenko in the semi-finals, Tsitsipas dropped just one of his 12 first-serve points, a weapon which Collignon will need to watch out for.

This is a big occasion for the Belgian as this is his first taste of a final on the Tour. He's played some good tennis over the last few days and he can certainly ask questions of Tsitsipas. I think the latter's experience in multiple finals over the course of his career will give him the edge, but I'm expecting this contest to go the distance.

Match Betting - Xinyu Gao to beat Linda Fruhvirtova @ 4/5

Qualifiers for the WTA Prague Open are in action on Sunday and one of the most eye-catching draws sees Xinyu Gao take on Linda Fruhvirtova. This will be the third competitive meeting between them, with the two players having won one contest apiece so far.

Fruhvirtova won the first encounter in Slovakia in March 2025 on the indoor hard court, but Gao got her revenge last week in the ENKA Open in Istanbul on the hard outdoor courts.

This is the very surface on which they will compete on Sunday and Betfred is leaning towards Gao here at 4/5. I'm inclined to agree given how recent their latest head-to-head was, and Gao was better than Fruhvirtova on the day but the match did go the distance.

I wouldn't be too surprised if if this meeting plays out in a similar fashion.
