Horse Racing Tips: Gold for a Bath Prince while Richard can master Southwell

It's another busy day on Thursday with six meetings to get stuck into from Britain and Ireland.
There's Flat action from Bath, Southwell and Chelmsford, with the jumps racing coming from Newcastle, Stratford and Thurles.
Our expert has picked out a trio of selections on the level for Thursday, including a runner in form with a cracking apprentice riding the crest of a wave.

13:55 Bath - Platinum Prince @ 9/2
Conditions are set to be very testing at Bath on Thursday, with the ground currently soft-heavy in places.
That's really going to suit Platinum Prince who we know goes well on this sort of surface.
Gary and Josh Moore's son of Harbour Watch arrives in cracking form with form figures of 21712 this season and he's arguably finding his best at the ripe old age of eight.
His penultimate run at Goodwood was worth marking up given that the winning margin would have been wider if he hadn't hung right in the closing stages. Similar can be said for his second back at the West Sussex venue last time out, doing well to recover from a very slow start to hit the crossbar.
This time, the promising apprentice Toby Moore takes over. He got his first career success at Kempton on Wednesday night and Ryan Moore's son looks tidy in the saddle.
Any apprentice showing promise at this early stage of their career can be worth their weight in gold while still able to claim 7lb.
The gelding has also run a couple of cracking races in defeat in two of his four previous visits to Bath, so there's every chance he's a bit overpriced.
This hold up performer should get a decent pace to aim at with a few front-runners in the small field.

14:25 Bath - Equion @ 2/1
Another one that is going to relish conditions at Bath is Equion, who hasn't had his ground so far this season.
However, he's become very well handicapped on his form from the back end of last season (currently 4lb below his last winning mark) and there were encouraging signs when fourth of 12 at Nottingham earlier this month.
A 2lb drop for that is lenient and Daniel Muscutt taking over in the saddle is another positive.
Expect a big run, particularly given that he hit the crossbar on his only previous visit to Bath.

18:00 Southwell - Master Richard @ 18/1
It often pays to be ridden prominently on Southwell's all-weather course, particularly over the shorter distances and Master Richard looks worth chancing at decent odds.
He's won two of his last four starts and set unsustainable fractions at Newcastle last time out.
Master Richard can bounce back over a course and distance he's won over previously.
