NAP of the Day: Yarmouth’s the key for our speedy seaside sweetheart

Greetings all. Wednesday's NAP will have sluiced up/had a search party commissioned for it (delete as appropriate) by the time England and Argentina line-up in Atlanta, so let's hope we start the evening on the front foot and sail through accordingly.
Looking for a bit of value - and at time of writing I think we've got some. Have a cracking evening.
NAP of the Day - Wednesday 15 July 2026

Jockey Hector Crouch is someone I've an awful lot of time for. A touch of the plot-jockey about him - when given good chances, he seems so often to deliver.
For a wide variety of trainers, too. Ralph Beckett, Clive Cox, David Menuisier, Michael Bell, Marco Botti, William Knight - just some of the regulars using Hector, providing many of the around 70 winners he's enjoyed so far this calendar year.
Newmarket handler Phil McBride is another to have engaged Crouch, as he did on July 8 for a Class 5 handicap here, aboard his four-year-old Land Force filly out of an Aussie Rules mare - IZZY FAST.
She's one-from-six in her career, and that solitary time Crouch was 'up' she ran very well to be touched off by just half-a-length, over today's 7f trip.
She gave the winner, an Andrew Balding filly, 9lb. It was a nice little race for the grade and Izzy Fast is now returned to the scene of that effort at a slightly higher level, just a week later.
Crouch has one other mount on the six-race card, Sterling Fortune, for James Tate. It looks to have a fine chance too, but I'm assuming (dangerous, I know) that he's predominantly here for the filly who ran so well for him last week.
At this slightly higher Class 4 level she's at least getting a nice bit of weight from some of her rivals, which is no bad thing. She's evidently thought fit and well, to be reappearing so relatively soon, and there's Hector - presumably no hesitation in accepting the ride again having had such a great spin with her the other day.
Incidentally, that sole Izzy Fast victory was achieved here, in April, under the great Silvestre De Sousa. I bet connections think the world of her, and off the same mark as last time (68), has a decent chance at what I feel is a cracking price.
