NAP of the Day: New blood or another for Karl Burke?

It's a fresh week as far as my NAP of the Day selections are concerned, and I'm hoping to start in style at Hamilton on Wednesday.
I'm backing another juvenile for the red-hot Karl Burke team in Scotland. Here's why.
NAP of the Day - Wednesday 27 May 2026
- 14:05 Hamilton - Or Another @ 2/1

Karl Burke has won the last two renewals of the opener at Hamilton on Wednesday - a five-furlong maiden for two-year-olds.
Firstly, with Kodiac colt Milford in 2024. He went on to run in the Norfolk Stakes at Royal Ascot next time out and two starts later was awarded a mark of 95.
Twelve months ago it was Azizam, who finished third of 23 in the Windsor Castle at the Royal meeting on his next outing. He was given a mark of 92 before joining US trainer George Weaver in Kentucky.
Burke tends to send a decent one north of the border, which is a good omen for OR ANOTHER. He can make it a hat-trick for the Middleham handler.
The son of Dark Angel is out of a half-sister to Royal Ascot winner Tactical who fetched a cool 180k guineas as a yearling back in October.
He debuted at Pontefract just under a month ago, finishing third of four, just under two lengths off the pace.
The winner? The odds-on Innichen for Jack Channon. He showed ability in a couple of starts at Bath and Newmarket prior, and is entered in the £500k sales race at York in August.
Or Another was himself very strong in the market at 'Ponte Carlo' and I felt he shaped like there was a good bit more to come.
He holds an entry for the Two Year Old Trophy at Redcar in October and if he wants to be turning up in a race like that, he'll want to be winning one like this.
His main danger on Wednesday afternoon is North Star Kodi for the Faheys. The £30k son of Kodi Bear ran a race of encouragement on debut at Hamilton, over a furlong further, and if improving over the minimum distance he's the obvious threat.
Hugo Palmer's unraced Sale Shark is the one to watch in the market, while Jaijai for Richard Hannon can't be ruled out either. I'd be surprised if either Carrow Road or Rbflying were up to it.
Will it be new blood, or another winner for Burke? The latter, for me.
