Nap of the Day: Diamond Days to spark for hot Tizzard team

Among a busy day of racing action on Tuesday, they go over jumps at Kelso, Limerick and Lingfield before the evening all-weather card from Newcastle.
It was quite the weekend for trainer Joe Tizzard and he could enjoy further success with his sole contender on the card at Lingfield. Below you can find our Nap of the Day for Tuesday, November 18.

Joe Tizzard should still be buzzing after a major weekend for his Venn Farm operation saw them sending out five winners from five runners at Cheltenham, Uttoxeter and Fontwell.
They went 3-3 at the November Meeting in Cheltenham as Eldorado Allen and Triple Trade got the job done before Alexei turned a competitive Greatwood Handicap Hurdle into something akin to a procession.
The progressive Brocade Racing inmate is now considered a dark horse in the Champion Hurdle market for March and Tizzard was delighted to point to the fact this success was a sure sign his operation is about much more than producing staying chasers.
DIAMOND DAYS is his only runner at Lingfield and the five-year-old could shine under Freddie Gingell.
His best effort last season came here over 2m on heavy ground in January when second-best behind Just Aidan in a Novices' Limited Handicap Hurdle off a mark of 90, shipping more than a stone to the five-length winner – with Harriet Dickin's charge scoring again next time out.
He was pulled up on his only further start at Herford over further in March and doesn't appear to relish good ground.
This month's comeback run was at Fontwell (2m1½f, good to soft) and he finished third in that contest behind Low Expectations and odds-on favourite Tigers Moon.
He moved into contention quite stylishly that afternoon but didn't find as much as appeared likely and it could well be that he needed that run after 233 days out, with an eye on this chasing bow.
A mark of 91 should be within his grasp now switching to fences and the yard are now in cracking form with a near 26 per-cent strike-rate across the last fortnight (9-35).
His physical appearance and breeding would suggest the switch to chasing should provide improvement and the standard set by recent Fontwell winner Getaway King isn't a high one.
Diamond Days should have the winning of this if his jumping holds up and the Tizzard team are in excellent fettle, while Gingell has a terrific Lingfield record with four winners from just nine rides around here.
