NAP of the Day: Team Twiston-Davies ready for Moon landing

There are just two racing days remaining before Christmas and one of those is on Sunday, with jumps action from Lingfield and Fakenham on the agenda.
The action at Fakenham may see a sparkling chasing debut for I Am The Moon, representing a bang in-form Nigel & Willy Twiston-Davies yard. Read on for my NAP of the Day.

The Naunton yard of Nigel & Willy Twiston-Davies have been in sparkling form in the countdown to Christmas. They entered this weekend boasting a near 27 per cent strike-rate with seven winners from 26 starters across the preceding fortnight, including an impressive three from four at Ludlow and Uttoxeter earlier in the week.
They saddle I AM THE MOON in the Queen Boudicca Series Qualifier Mares' Handicap Chase over 2m5f at Fakenham, the second race on the card at the Norfolk circuit.
She's making her first start over fences and can excel at this discipline. She won a novice hurdle at Warwick in January over 2m3f and held her form in some good company over timber thereafter.
Notably, she was fourth in the Grade 2 British EBF 'National Hunt' Mares' Novices' Hurdle at Newbury in March, outrunning odds of 22/1 as market leader Siog Geal justified favouritism for another Gloucestershire-based trainer in Fergal O'Brien.
I Am The Moon has very much shaped as though she will excel once transitioning to chasing, appearing to have the six and scope for this challenge.
Recent Huntingdon runner-up Tankardstown Diva comes here in form, but is 0-7 over fences now and perhaps the main danger could be Dan Skelton's Settle Down Jill, who has run with credit in 3-4 starts over these obstacles already.
Overabottleofred also boasts winning form but hasn't been seen in 246 days.
Cheekpieces are added on I Am The Moon for this maiden assignment over the larger obstacles and it's a proper family affair with Sam booked to ride for his father-brother training axis.
The yard typically does well with runners at Fakenham and this mare gets the nod to oblige on her comeback/chasing introduction.
