Lucky 15 Tips: Usual fabulous Saturday fare on the historic Roodee

We've got a couple of Chester's races sorted in our ITV piece, but let's cover some more from that beautiful, quirky, historic venue with our Lucky 15 tips.
Action kicks in at 13:35, it's a seven-race card, and it's absolutely certain to be dramatic. Goes with the territory here.
Lucky 15 Tips - Saturday 13 June 2026
- Chester 15:23 - Impartiality @ 6/1
- Chester 16:00 - Tricky Tel @ 10/3
- Chester 16:37 - Solar Pass @ 4/1
- Chester 17:12 - Newtown Duke @ 4/1
*Odds correct as of the time of publication
Chester 15:23 - Impartiality @ 6/1
Shane Gray will be looking to score on this Phil Makin-trained four-year-old gelding in a 10.5f handicap for older horses.
Impartiality might be ready on run number three after his seasonal reappearance, and crucially has won here before, last June over slightly shorter off a mark of 74.
He's off 83 today and should be coming to the boil.
Chester 16:00 - Tricky Tel @ 10/3
Hugo Palmer is mustard and then some around here and saddles Tricky Tel, a three-year-old gelding who scored at Hamilton when last seen 17 days ago over 6f. He drops to the minimum 5f distance this afternoon and gets the outstanding Dave Probert up top, who has ridden him once previously.
He's another course winner - and given that this is Chester, being drawn in the three box is a result already. Should be a 60-second thriller.
Chester 16:37 - Solar Pass @ 4/1
Andrew Balding trains, PJ McDonald rides. A consistent four-year-old filly who ran here when last seen 14 days ago and a good effort it was, at this 2m trip, beaten 3.25l.
Solar Pass wears the legendary Mill Reef silks now registered to the Kingsclere Racing club, and after that recent sighter he can get his head in front this afternoon.
Chester 17:12 - Newtown Duke @ 4/1
Superb dual-purpose trainer Ian Williams saddles Newtown Duke, a five-year-old Lope De Vega gelding who returned for the season in good style 36 days ago here, going down in a similar race (but worth a good deal more) by just 2l.
Ryan Kavanagh takes off a handy 5lb and though we are going 1m 4.5f his draw in the two box is still seen as a big potential advantage. Any repeat or even better, benefiting from the run, would see him right in the thick of this and though Ryan was on top last time he couldn't claim, as it was an apprentice race.
Today he can.
If all four of our selections won, today's notional 50p win Lucky 15, at the prices indicated (they can of course fluctuate), would return around £760 for a £7.50 total stake. If you can improve upon our selections (of course you can) - then go for it!
