It's a stunning Sunday in store at the Curragh as the Kildare course hosts day two of the Irish Champions Festival.

There are no less than four Group 1s on a high-quality card from Ireland, while UK action comes from Doncaster on the concluding afternoon of the Betfred St Leger Festival alongside cards from Bath and Musselburgh. Sunday's Nap of the Day is a filly that has really found top gear recently and she can give champion jockey Colin Keane a welcome Curragh winner.

A quartet of top level races will go before but the Moyglare 'Jewels' Blandford Stakes could feature a filly heading once more for elite company.

RED LETTER is fancied to land this Fillies' & Mares' Group 2 on her first attempt at the mile-and-a-quarter trip.

The Frankel filly showed real potential at two, including when beaten just over a length in the Moyglare Stud Stakes on this card.

She ran a solid race in the 1000 Guineas at Newmarket on her comeback but was denied in second by Barnavara in a Listed contest at Navan over a mile in June.

That left her with a question to answer but her response was immediate as she bagged a Listed success over a mile at Killarney on soft ground in July, despite having to navigate a wider than optimal path.

Her next stop was the Group 3 Snow Fairy Fillies Stakes here (good to yielding) late last month and she delivered another polished success having been well backed in the market beforehand, comfortably reversing the Navan form with Barnavara (third).

She was getting stronger all the way to the winning post and left the impression this extra furlong will be a plus, while that proven ability on soft ground is another positive given the rain that was falling early on Saturday.

Keane returns in the saddle having missed out here last time, linking up with his old boss Ger Lyons in the silks of his current paymasters Juddmonte.

The six-time Irish champion jockey is facing a real battle to hold onto that particular crown, with Dylan Browne McMonagle out in front in what appears now as a two-horse race.

Keane was over at Doncaster on Saturday but has a promising book of rides at the Curragh on Sunday, with Red Letter presenting as his best chance of eating into the lead held by his title rival.

This filly is very much back on the upgrade now and looks to have more to offer over intermediate distances. A third Curragh win of her career beckons and a first success at Group 2 level.
