Lucky 15 Tips: Drinks could be on Tim at Nottingham

It's Thursday already dear reader, and Sunday's Arc looms large in the mirrors. Any thought or mention of same leads me to Dancing Brave - in common I suspect with many firmly south of 21 - and if we see a race half as good on Sunday we'll be blessed beyond measure.

As for today's Lucky 15 tips, let's give Nottingham a whirl. Their seven-race card kicks in at 13:55 and some big names are in attendance - Will Buick (one ride - where do I sign?), Danny Tudhope, and Cliff Lee are among the jocks taking part. Enjoy!

13:55 - Enchanted Queen @ 5/6

I'm hoping the price holds up on this two-year-old Ghaiyyath filly, because her chance looks undeniable in this 8.5f maiden.

This is Will Buick's only booked mount on the card - a Charlie Appleby-trained, Godolphin-owned youngster who's had two very promising spins so far at top venues Newmarket (August), then Sandown 20 days ago.

Enchanted Queen finished close-up on both occasions and with precious little form to go on as far as her rivals go she's got very persuasive credentials. Charlie's yard is running at a healthy 27% strike-rate and her sire won on good-to-soft, the anticipated ground conditions (always check for the very latest information on that important score).

Huge chance.

15:00 - Rum Therapy @ 15/8

A £16k-to-the-winner nursery now, and a selection looking to defy a 4lb hike and a step up in class.

Rum Therapy is trained by Tim Easterby in North Yorkshire and has already run on six occasions. The two-year-old Dark Angel filly has won twice, including last time at Thirsk 17 days ago, and appears versatile as to ground conditions.

She's progressive, too - last time was a career-best and though another is probably required she's in-form, and jockey Duran Fentiman knows her well. Lovely contest for a great prize.

16:05 - Gentle Warrior @ 5/2

The all-powerful Karl Burke yard fields a three-year-old Mohaather gelding in this 1m 6f staying test, for another cracking pot (£15k).

Gentle Warrior is a course scorer here and has proved conclusively that he gets the trip. Three wins from 13 starts is further proof of his ability and today's 5lb claiming rider, Jack Nicholls (of the fabled dynasty attached to that name), knows the horse well.

He's improving, game, consistent, stays, and goes with cut in the ground. What's not to like?

Reckon it's nap material.

16:35 - Crowd Quake @ 10/3 

Danny Tudhope rides for Stuart Williams in this 10f Class 2 handicap (£15k to the winner once again).

Crowd Quake ran a fortnight ago at Ayr and 'enjoyed' a troubled passage, coming home over 5l adrift in sixth. Prior to that - a simply golden run stretching back to May, and SEVEN wins no less!

Massively progressive then, and another who seems comfortable with some juice underfoot. This is a tough old test but one he might just be up to, even off a career-high 86.

This is an example of a Lucky 15. If you can improve upon my selections (of course you can), then go for it!
