Saturday Lucky 15 Tips: Rollthedicebaby can land the jackpot at Newbury

We have eight meetings taking place across Britain and Ireland on Saturday, with both Flat and National Hunt action on offer. They race at Newbury, Market Rasen, Ripon, the Curragh, Newmarket and Cartmel in the afternoon, with Doncaster and Nottingham in the evening.
Obviously the Curragh’s Irish Oaks card is the most exciting, with three other Group races on the agenda too, but the valuable Super Sprint at Newbury isn’t to be missed either. Jumping action from Market Rasen offers up the Summer Plate as well. Everyone loves a Lucky 15 so I'm providing four fancies to consider combining into a multiple. Amongst my Lucky 15 Tips is a Richard Hannon runner in Newbury’s main event, who is well set to improve her trainer’s impressive record in the race.

13:55 Newbury – Silawi @ 11/2
Hamad Al Jehani’s SILAWI was very progressive last term and he landed a Group 3 over this trip at Windsor back in August, showing a good attitude to score by just shy of a length.
There was still better to come however, as he went on to contest the Grade 1 Canadian International over 1m4f at Woodbine, which resulted in the narrowest of victories.
He bumped into the very useful Opera Ballo in the Jebel Hatta over 1m1f in Meydan over the winter and kept on well for second, despite not having the pace to challenge.
A return to that sort of form would put him bang in the mix here on first start since February and he doesn’t have much to find with top-rated market leader Persica.
14:15 Curragh – One Look @ 10/11
Paddy Twomey is always a trainer to watch and he runs ONE LOOK here, who has already proven her capabilities at Group 1 level this season when the daughter of Gleneagles was a respectable second behind Estrange in the Pretty Polly Stakes over course and distance.
Twice a winner in Group 3 company last term, the second of those successes came in this very race and a repeat performance could well be on the cards.
Her rivals have at least 5lb to find according to the handicapper and One Look is very much the one to beat.
15:37 Newbury – Rollthedicebaby @ 15/2
Richard Hannon’s father landed the Weatherby’s Super Sprint on seven occasions and Hannon Jr looks well set to challenge that record, having already achieved four victories since taking over the reins in 2014. He runs ROLLTHEDICEBABY this time around.
She ran a nice race to finish second on debut at Goodwood back in May and took a step forward to win impressively over an extra furlong at the same course next time.
Dropping back to 5f shouldn’t be a problem, judging by how keen she was at Goodwood last time, and a big run is expected.
16:00 Curragh – Carry The Flag @ 3/1
Aidan O’Brien has won the last two renewals of the Railway Stakes with subsequent Classic winners Henri Matisse and True Love, and there’s a good chance that CARRY THE FLAG can make it three in a row for the Ballydoyle operation.
The experienced son of No Nay Never got the better of subsequent Group 2 winner Sun Goddess when getting off the mark at Naas and went on to finish second behind stablemate and Coventry Stakes winner Great Barrier Reef in the Marble Hill over course and distance.
Things didn’t quite go to plan in the Norfolk Stakes but he got back on track with victory in a Listed race at Naas earlier this month and the return to 6f is a big plus.
