For Wednesday's Lucky 15 tips let's head up to Hexham, and their six-race National Hunt card that kicks in at 12:46.

Harry Cobden is here for one ride - for boss Paul Nicholls - and that raider is sure to attract plenty of support in the 13:51. Should be a grand afternoon, enjoy, and above all - have fun.

Fast Racing Results

13:16 - Like Minded @ 5/4

The Lucinda Russell & Michael Scudamore yard are operating at around a 20% strike-rate right now, and field an unraced four-year-old gelded son of an Epsom Derby winner in this novice hurdle contest.

Like Minded is owned by the mighty JP McManus, and expectations are realistically high that this well-bred recruit will be able to shine. The stable intriguingly run another, Hourman, who has had a spin already, but he's claimer-ridden and retained jockey Derek Fox is aboard our selection.

Should be informative, and a delight to see the famous green and gold silks at Hexham.

13:51 - Henri The Second @ 5/6

This is the one referred to at the top of the piece - four wins from 13 career starts so far, and tackling his second assignment over the larger obstacles this afternoon.

Henri The Second makes the three-hundred-and-plenty-mile trip from Somerset to Northumberland and even if the Nicholls yard isn't quite the force of old that fact still commands our attention.

The eight-year-old gelding goes on heavy ground (every chance the conditions will be testing today), and having had his one chasing experience so far at Sandown, a pretty daunting Grade 1 circuit, he might appreciate this stiff but potentially slightly calmer test.

Needs to overcome a 251-day absence but this is Team Ditcheat we're talking about.

The 3m trip should be fine and if pilot Harry Cobden doesn't find a way to win, that considerable journey home will seem even longer.

14:26 - Wal Buck's @ 9/4

We're siding here with another from the Russell/Scudamore/McManus camp - the six-year-old gelded chaser Wal Buck's.

Could be a big afternoon then for both the yard and fabled owner; and this one had a pipe-opener 45 days ago at Kelso, finishing a respectable fourth beaten 13.5l over 3m 2f. This is an extreme test over 4m no less, and our pick has never been this far before.

Got to trust that his National-winning trainer retains her magic touch with staying types and that Derek Fox can produce him in a timely manner at the business end.

15:31 - No Walkover @ 13/8

An interesting-looking bumper rounds off proceedings, and we're keen on the chances of David Pipe's No Walkover.

Here's another making a fairly epic journey - some 370 miles, very similar to that undertaken back in Somerset by the Nicholls camp, who are around 40 miles to the north-east.

No Walkover is making his debut under rules after one point-to-point outing back in February, finishing a close-up second of eight in Ireland. The four-year-old gelding is with a fine yard and he's bound to be well prepared for this test.

The excellent Jack Tudor (19% strike-rate in the last fortnight) has just this one booked ride on the card, and I expect it to be a winning one.

If all four of our selections won, today's notional 50p win Lucky 15, at the prices indicated (they can of course fluctuate), would return around £70 for a £7.50 total stake.
