Lucky 15 Tips: It’s the late late Rossa show from Kempton

Wednesday - and there's a NINE-race card at Kempton with our name on it. Great competition on the Polytrack and with the likes of Oisin Murphy and Rossa Ryan in attendance (more of that later) it's sure to an absolute sizzler.

16:23 - Nasebah @ 11/8

Maiden fillies go 11f in this good-looking affair.

The selection is a daughter of the mighty Kingman out of a Giant's Causeway mare. One green run so far - nicely all over the place at Newcastle 20 days ago over 10f, but only beaten 2l.

Fine effort then, and she'll know much more this afternoon. Having the champ on top (he didn't ride up in the north-east) is an obvious bonus and she can open her account.

Nasebah might just be a lovely filly in the making, and Team Gosden train at HQ.

18:00 - Marchogion @ 5/2

It's that man again, Oisin Murphy, with the riding assignment. This time it's for his long-time connection Andrew Balding, and this three-year-old Mehmas colt arrives fresh from dotting up in a Chester Class 3 handicap 32 days ago.

Marchogion is up a notch now, but in this Conditions contest he comes out pretty well, with only arguably Ten Pounds and Al Shabab Storm better treated.

Such was the manner of his Chester display (3.75l at this 6f trip, winning 'easily'), I'm sure there's a few pounds still left in the locker and who better than Murphy to unleash that potency.

It was a stellar personal best, too, so he's going the right way. This is a superb contest and one to savour.

20:00 - Final Night @ 7/2

After two bites of the Murphy cherry, we're turning our attention to another current giant of the weighing room - Rossa Ryan.

He rides Final Night here in a little Class 6 mile handicap for HQ handler John Butler. The selection is a three-year-old Muhaarar gelding looking for win number one after 11 starts.

He usually plies his trade in Class 5 events so drops a rung today, and the handicapper's given him a wee bit of respite too - down 2lb to a mark of 58.

This isn't exalted company, and getting Ryan in the plate for the first time is a great boost.

20:30 - Chasing Gold @ 5/2

We're going for a late Ryan double, because the Arc-winning jock is on top here too - teaming up with a three-year-old gelding by Twilight Son - Michael Keady's Chasing Gold.

This is a basement 6f sprint handicap, and the selection is another looking to break his duck after nine starts. However - since reappearing in June off 60 he's run four times, close up on each occasion, and I think given that consistency he can count himself a bit fortunate that the assessor has seen fit to drop him incrementally to today's 55.

That looks a fabulously tempting mark and with Rossa having ridden him a couple of times previously, he rates my nap of the night on what's a cracking-looking programme.

Only ever been to Kempton once, an evening meeting after attending a rugby match that afternoon at Twickenham; and Jimmy Tarbuck was there!

This is an example of a Lucky 15. If you can improve upon my selections (of course you can), then go for it!
