Lucky 15 Tips: Generational talent Bowen is at Sedgefield on Tuesday

Greetings, dear reader. Decent results for both the L15 and ITV pieces on Saturday when last I was in the chair as it were, and we attack a new week with the usual enthusiasm. Still trying to settle down after the watching the golf over the weekend - simply staggering sporting drama, nerves shredded, excitement off the scale.
Right - Tuesday's Lucky 15 tips will come from Sedgefield, that gorgeous jumps track in County Durham. Sean Bowen's there - and so are we!
Lucky 15 Tips - Tuesday, September 30
Sedgefield
*Odds correct as of the time of publication
14:07 - Roadshow @ 5/2
Ten-pound claimer Freddie Keighley rides this four-year-old Galileo gelding for top trainer Paul Nicholls.
Roadshow is one from 12 so far, and that solitary success was on the flat on debut for former trainer Andre Fabre, at St Cloud. Fabre is beyond brilliant and very own our Ditcheat maestro took over the care of the horse from France in July last year.
Much was doubtless expected of him but there have been signs of some ability without any great heights being reached. This looks like a winnable early-season target especially with 10lb being claimed from the prescribed burden of 11st 9lb.
It's the Nicholls factor - far from home, yes - but little fish taste just as sweet.
15:07 - Arthur's Quay @ 9/2
Time for a bit of a veteran now - one clad in arguably the most familiar and successful colours in the jumping game anywhere; the green and gold of JP McManus.
Arthur's Quay is 11 years young now, but retains plenty of zip and will have the great benefit of Richie McLernon's talents in the plate. Our selection has won here before and takes a drop this afternoon into Class 4 chasing company.
Ben Haslam trains, and this fella might just be a value shout to get competitive.
16:07 - Delpotro @ 5/2
Couldn't go too long without a Sean Bowen-ridden conveyance on my dance card.
Delpotro is a five-year-old gelding in the care of Charlie Longsdon in Oxfordshire. He carries a 5lb penalty this afternoon for winning here 26 days ago under his absolutely brilliant jockey and as that was a first spin after a break of some 93 days, there could well be more to come today.
Progressive, course form, fine trainer, generational jockey. So much to like!
16:37 - Siouxfonic @ 11/4
I make no apologies whatsoever in going to the Bowen well once again, as Sean rides this four-year-old Sioux Nation offspring for Newmarket trainer James Owen.
Siouxfonic has appeared in two bumpers (NH flat races); one on debut in Ireland for Thomas Cooper (Patrick Mullins was engaged to ride, no less - 2nd, beaten 3.25l); then after joining James that month, a late-August third a few days later at Worcester under Sean, beaten 7.5l.
He'll no doubt be fitter, wiser and better prepared now and he'll certainly be one of the more likely types in terms of finding the winner. I understand this horse is a rig - a male genetically, but his testicles haven't descended as they should and so the horse has the outward appearance of a gelding.
It looks a nice opportunity for the deadly Owen/Bowen axis.
This is an example of a Lucky 15. If you can improve upon my selections (of course you can), then go for it!
The odds can fluctuate between publishing our pieces and race-time. As a guide, a £0.50p win Lucky 15 on today's selections, at the prices, and assuming all four won, would return around £312 for your total £7.50 stake.
