Lucky 15 Tips: Emperor to reign supreme on Tuesday!

Newcastle stage an eight-race card on Tuesday, kicking in at 16:50 - ideal material for our Lucky 15 tips. There's a royal runner (Warrant Holder in the opener; a solitary visitor for Team Gosden), and trainer Andrew Balding sends three.
Lots of the north's finest will be looking to repel the southern raiders - it should be tasty!

*Odds correct as of the time of publication
16:50 - Warrant Holder @ 9/4
A horse I mentioned in the introduction - a three-year-old Frankel colt, owned by the King and Queen, and having his fifth career start to date.
Warrant Holder has already won a novice here on his second racecourse appearance and has shown some pretty smart form. He tackled this 12f trip for the first time when last seen two weeks ago, at Leicester, and seemed to stay on well enough without landing a telling blow (beaten 5.5l, third of nine, on good-to-soft).
He's the sole Gosden raider on the card and the outstanding Danny Tudhope rides, for the first time. Big chance.
17:25 - Moonlight Warrior @ 11/8
I've previewed this race in in depth and Moonlight Warrior is nominated as our Nap Of The Day - read all about it right here.
18:00 - Balkadisha @ 11/10
The brilliant Brazilian Silvestre de Sousa is engaged for this Charlie Johnston-trained juvenile - a daughter of the mighty Churchill and beaten just a nose on debut here in a seven-runner maiden 19 days ago.
Balkadisha is out of a Cape Cross mare and so narrowly failed to make it a winning start over this very course-and-distance. Silvestre was on board last time and with a little improvement almost assured can step up a place - though some nice yards oppose with promising types themselves.
I'm banking on that experience being put to good use, in addition to harnessing Silvestre's familiarity with the filly, in what's an absolute cracker of a novice for members of the fairer sex.
20:00 - Emperor's Son @ 13/2
Experienced horses go 6f in this Class 5 handicap, and our selection has one win (on debut) from 13 career starts to date.
Emperor's Son has slipped to what looks an appealing mark of 68, after being rated as high as 90 in the summer of 2023. The four-year-old Kodiac gelding advertised his current well-being a fortnight ago at Leicester, beaten just 1.75l in this grade, keeping on late in the piece.
That was off 67 so he's been nudged up a pound, but surely that's not crucial. He's run here once before (2l second of ten), and under talented 3lb claiming apprentice Conor Orr this evening he can score for outstanding trainer Richard Fahey, based around 90 miles south down the A19.
This is an example of a Lucky 15. If you can improve upon my selections (of course you can), then go for it!
The odds can fluctuate between publishing our pieces and race-time. As a guide, a £0.50p win Lucky 15 on today's selections, at the prices, and assuming all four won, would return around £188 for your total £7.50 stake.
