Hello, dear reader. Back from a little battery-charging break, and looking forward to Cheltenham's three-day fiesta at the end of the week. As for Tuesday our Lucky 15 tips will come courtesy of Hereford, a proper grass roots National Hunt venue, and their six-race card that kicks in at 13:00.

Special day today - November 11 - as we remember those who gave everything to protect our freedoms, and way of life. Football did it beautifully over the weekend, and we'll never, ever, forget.

13:35 - Love Sonnet @ 15/8

Tim Vaughan trains this promising three-year-old Shaman filly in the Vale of Glamorgan. James Davies takes the mount.

Love Sonnet only joined Tim in early October, from John Joseph Murphy's yard in County Cork. One run so far for new connections - a similar 2m maiden hurdle for fillies at Ludlow, where she was second of six beaten 4l.

Signs of greenness on that occasion, jumping a hurdle for the first time in public, and she'll know more about the game this afternoon. She won two little middle distance handicaps back-to-back on the flat in Ireland, both with the outstanding Colin Keane up top, so she's got ability, no question.

Nice little heat with several possibles, but she ticks plenty of boxes and James was in the saddle last time too, which is a bonus.

14:10 - Kit's Coty @ 1/1

Ladies first again, with a mares' chase over 3m 1f.

Our selection is a seven-year-old daughter of Black Sam Bellamy with two wins under rules from 11 career starts - Kit's Coty. Emma Lavelle trains, in Wiltshire, and Jonathan Burke has the riding assignment.

The mare lined up at Ludlow 19 days ago for a similar contest and prevailed by 1.25l from four rivals. Connections possibly anticipated a good showing as the horse started 11/8f, and some of the credit was directed towards reaping the benefits of wind surgery, in mid-September.

She goes well here having taken a maiden hurdle back in January 2024 and is only up 2lb for that more recent success.

14:45 - Noble Park @ 4/1

One of the sport's enduring 'big-gun' combinations now - trainer Nicky Henderson and jockey Nico de Boinville. Michael Buckley of Constitution Hill fame is listed also as one of the two owners so Noble Park has already got plenty going for him.

The six-year-old Walk In The Park gelding is still searching for career win number one but was thought good enough to take his chance at the Punchestown Festival when last seen in April (big hurdles series final, worth £50k).

He didn't threaten on that occasion and goes chasing now. He did produce a couple of decent placed efforts at Sandown and Warwick prior to Ireland and his stable hardly needs an introduction in terms of facilities, expertise and results. Some nice yards oppose and it's a very interesting field.

15:20 - On The Go @ 3/1

Our final L15 leg sees a handicap hurdle over 2m 5.5f, and a selection trained by Charlie Longsdon in Oxfordshire.

On The Go is a five-year-old gelding who's been admirably consistent of late without quite being able to get his head in front. Last time was just about a career-best, finishing a 2.5l third at Huntingdon in one of these heats and gets to race off 91 again, the same mark, this afternoon.

The winner has very nearly defied a penalty since and the second went close at Fakenham, so the form looks solid for the grade.

Claimer Daire McConville (7lb) takes the mount and he was on top 35 days ago too. He looks ready to win.

If all four of our selections won, today's notional 50p win Lucky 15, at the prices indicated (they can of course fluctuate), would return around £173 for a £7.50 total stake.
