Lucky 15 Tips: Plenty of Friday fun from Catterick

I hope I'm not chancing my arm and tempting both fate and the weather gods too much, but I'm heading to North Yorkshire and Catterick racecourse on Friday, for our Lucky 15 tips.
Smashing seven-race jumping programme, which kicks in at 12:07. Brian Hughes is here, there's a Skelton raider in the bumper, and it should be an excellent afternoon at what's a lovely course I've very happily visited in the past.
We fired in the first two winners of yesterday's Lingfield L15 at advertised odds of 13/8 and 7/2, and in the lucky last we made it three on the day as our 13/2 selection mowed 'em down in the shadow of the post at returned odds of 8/1. Brilliant if you were on!
Lucky 15 Tips - Friday, November 21
Catterick
- 13:15 - Monsieur Le Fuzz @ 7/1
- 13:50 - Ring Of Kerry @ 7/4
- 14:25 - William Cody @ 7/1
- 15:35 - Trigg @ 2/1
*Odds correct as of the time of publication
13:15 - Monsieur Le Fuzz @ 7/1
Trainer Rebecca Menzies runs two, and it's her six-year-old French-bred gelding Monsieur Le Fuzz that takes my eye.
Just six starts so far which includes two points, and he's enjoyed one success - an Ayr novices' handicap hurdle in March off 98, after which he was put away. He's had a seasonal reappearance pipe-opener at Hexham two weeks ago (never challenging), and off 101 today can be competitive and indeed prevail.
Ross Chapman is doing the pushing, as he has the last twice.
13:50 - Ring Of Kerry @ 7/4
Cian Collins brings his five-year-old gelding all the way from Navan for this novices' hurdle, having opened its account last time 25 days ago at Wexford.
Ring Of Kerry concedes 7lb and more to his rivals courtesy of that win and two that claim the mares' allowance; but in all candour it doesn't look a particular hot contest.
The selection won his solitary point, and bar a lack-lustre effort in September in a Listowel bumper (ridden by Patrick Mullins no less) he's shown definite ability.
Looks to have an outstanding chance, and Danny Gilligan comes over to maintain the winning partnership.
14:25 - William Cody @ 7/1
Pam Sly makes the journey up from Cambridgeshire with her eight-year-old Westerner gelding William Cody.
Four wins from 32 races for this one, all over fences, and at around this 2m 4f trip. On seasonal reappearance at Warwick 17 days ago he ran ok under the circumstances (hampered by faller, made some mistakes, faded late), and today could be another story.
Last winning mark was 113, and races off 112 this afternoon.
15:35 - Trigg @ 2/1
Dan Skelton sends his four-year-old Getaway gelding to North Yorkshire from his Warwickshire base and in my book it's with a favourite's chance.
Trigg has run just once, in a similar race at Worcester in September, and after being held up by the trainer's brother Harry he prevailed cosily by 2l, beating nine rivals.
It doesn't look strong form but you can only beat what's in front of you, etc. Claimer Harry Atkins (7lb) negates the penalty for that same amount, carried for the win, and with the yard operating at around a 25% strike-rate at present this could be another for the Alcester outfit.
If all four of our selections won, today's notional 50p win Lucky 15, at the prices indicated (they can of course fluctuate), would return around £600 for a £7.50 total stake.
