13:15 - Revival Power @ 10/3
Tim Easterby saddles two with great chances in this 5f G3 sprint for two-year-olds, one of which is recent G2 Donny scorer Revival Power.
King Power own this Bungle Inthejungle filly, and she must shoulder a 5lb penalty for that lofty success in South Yorkshire. However, she's earned it and on racecourse appearance number six she's on a very noticeable upward curve.
Three wins and two narrow defeats so far, with her only blip being in the Queen Mary at the Royal meeting. She's improved out of all recognition since then and I'm expecting that to carry her to victory here.
David Allan takes over from Oisin Murphy in the plate - it's David's regular ride, and the champ switches to Tim's other runner Argentine Tango, who for me has a terrific each-way shout at around 20/1 as I write.
13:50 - Classic Cuvee @ 10/3
Will Buick rides for trainer Roger Varian.
More two-year-olds, all fillies this time, go 7f in the G3 Oh So Sharp. Two runs so far for this young lady - a good debut here at this trip (beaten 3l by subsequent G2 scorer Xanthos); then taking a good Donny maiden four weeks ago.
Classic Cuvee has got any amount of potential improving to do and is among the early closing entries for next season's Irish 1000 Guineas. Beautifully-bred, by Siyouni out of a Montjeu mare, she's got plenty to recommend her and I'm firmly 'in.'
14:25 - Poet Master @ 4/1
A 7f G2 stakes contest now for three-year-olds and upwards.
Stable jock Cliff Lee is aboard Karl Burke's Poet Master - and we know from last Saturday that the juggernaut stable are raiding all over the place in search of some fabulous autumn prizes. Goes without saying but several of their arrows are landing, too.
This lightly-raced five-year-old Lope de Vega gelding is a brilliant five-from-11 all told in a career that includes a couple of considerable lay-offs, and showing his well-being 26 days ago ran second, beaten just half-a-length, in a Longchamp G3.
He's won here before at the trip and represents a bit of value in my book in what looks an open contest.
14:57 - Precise @ 6/4
My nap of the afternoon; trained by Aidan O'Brien, and ridden by Christophe Soumillion, who very nearly delivered an Arc success for Ballydoyle last Sunday courtesy of Minnie Hauk.
The two-year-old Starspangledbanner filly Precise contests this G1 Fillies' Mile after winning her last three of four lifetime starts. She's smart - and progressive.
Last time 26 days ago in the G1 Moyglare at the Curragh she recorded a personal best in winning nicely from the likes of fellow G1 scorer Venetian Sun, and her trainer is a past master at hoovering up these big autumn prizes.
She looks top-drawer to me and will surely take the world of beating in those famous Derrick Smith silks.
This is an example of a Lucky 15. If you can improve upon my selections (of course you can), then go for it!
The odds can fluctuate between publishing our pieces and race-time. As a guide, a £0.50p win Lucky 15 on today's selections, at the prices, and assuming all four won, would return around £298 for your total £7.50 stake.
