Lucky 15 tips

There are three meetings across Britain and Ireland on Sunday as the top-class jumps action keeps on coming. There are cards at Cork, Kelso and Huntingdon, with the Hilly Way Chase in Ireland and the Peterborough Chase from Huntingdon amongst the top attractions.

Below are my Lucky 15 Tips for Sunday's UK and Irish racing action, including one at Kelso for Britain's champion jockey Sean Bowen.

Fast Racing Results

13:30 Kelso – Al Kalila @ 7/4

Sean Bowen continues to knock in the winners and the champion jockey teams up with the Stuart Crawford team on board AL KALILA in the Paxtons For Kverneland Parts And Genuine Spares Novices' Limited Handicap Chase over just shy of three miles at Kelso

The Simon Munir & Isaac Souede-owned six-year-old was second-best over course and distance in last month's chasing introduction, comfortably accounting for all bar the front-running winner Cadell – an experienced chaser.

The third, Dom Of Mary, won at Newcastle last week and this Irish raider is rated just 2lb higher now in what looks a weaker race on paper. Bowen can notch a first winner for this Northern Irish handler.

13:40 Cork – Kargese @ 10/11

Willie Mullins and Paul Townend were on target on Saturday as they landed a first Tingle Creek together with the very impressive Il Etait Temps at Sandown.

The powerful duo can strike in the Coolmore N.H. Sires Order Of St George Irish EBF Mares Novice Chase back on home soil with KARGESE.

This Kenny Alexander-owned mare was very smart over hurdles, winning the County Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival in March as she went a spot better than her Triumph Hurdle effort 12 months before.

She also got within six lengths of State Man in the Champion Hurdle at Punchestown. She has no issues going well fresh, looks sure to make a chaser and has the beating of recent beginners' chase winner Kala Conti on their hurdles clashes.

14:50 Cork – Found A Fifty @ 3/1

The Hilly Way Chase will see Mullins/Townend looking to land a record fourth success with Energumene, but it is stablemate Majborough that heads the betting, with Mark Walsh on board as retained rider for owner JP McManus.

He's very talented but sometimes has issues with his jumping and he's in open company now, taking on some talented rivals.

Banbridge joins the Closutton duo as dangers, but perhaps Gordon Elliott can win this race for the first time with FOUND A FIFTY.

It's been a decent weekend again for the Cullentra team, and this consistent and versatile eight-year-old has only been out of the first two three times in 13 career runs over fences, one of those coming last month when he seemingly didn't get home over three miles at Down Royal.

He has fitness on his side, whereas the other main protagonists do not and he doesn't have much to find on ratings.

15:00 Huntingdon – Saint Sam @ 3/1

The Mullins weekend in Britain isn't done just yet and Harry Cobden is the main drafted in to partner SAINT SAM in the Peterborough Chase.

He's perhaps not a typical Closutton star, but he's very consistent as a rule and a winner in this grade over this trip in Ireland.

He likes to get on with things and Huntingdon is the sort of track that should play to his strengths, especially with Djelo showing his best form over further.

If all four of our selections won, today's notional 50p win Lucky 15, at the prices indicated (they can of course fluctuate), would return around £135 for a £7.50 total stake.
