Tuesday Racing Tips: Cape can put fear into his rivals

There's a bumper day's horse racing scheduled for Britain and Ireland on Tuesday; a total of seven meetings set to take place, including four evening cards.
First off is Leicester (14:10), closely followed by Redcar (14:20) and Bath (14:30). The evening action gets underway at Ballinrobe at 16:55, with Dundalk (17:07), Plumpton (17:37) and Lingfield (17:54) hot on its heels.
Amongst our Tuesday fancies is one for trainer Andrew Balding, who has been running to a consistent level in defeat and sets the standard judged on his newly allotted official mark of 78.

14:50 Redcar - Cape Fear @ 11/8
The Andrew Balding-trained CAPE FEAR is proving extremely consistent and should make a bold bid for a yard that won this race 2024 with the now 111-rated Mount Atlas.
It would be foolish to suggest this three-year-old gelding is going to reach the heights of his aforementioned stablemate, but he's shown a good level of ability in his three starts to date, running to Racing Post Ratings of 74, 77 and 76, the last twice when placed behind Saeed Bin Suroor's potentially smart Fighter's Spirit.
This is certainly no penalty kick for him, but a replication of either of his last two runs should see him enhance his trainer's already impressive strike-rate at the track over the last five years (5-25).

15:10 Leicester - Seet @ 11/4
This will likely prove an above-average race of its type and five of the six runners have shown enough to suggest they could be up to winning it. However, John and Thady Gosden have an outstanding record with their runners at this venue, and it looks like the recent Wolverhampton winner SEET can defy a penalty.
The selection is a half-sister to five individual winners, including dual Group 1 scorer Kalpana, and she's already shown plenty of ability in her own right, building on an encouraging effort at Newbury on her debut when running to a Racing Post Rating of 88 when scoring in ready fashion at Wolverhampton earlier this month.
This is a deeper race, but she's got a fitness edge over some of her principal rivals, and she's the sole runner on the card for her stable that has won with 13 of its 38 course runners since 2021.

20:24 Lingfield - Lohoobb @ 9/4
The Owen Burrows-trained LOHOOBB refused to settle when a beaten favourite on his seasonal reappearance/handicap debut over 7f at Newmarket at the start of the month, those early exertions finding him out inside the final furlong as he faded to finish fifth of the 11 runners.
In the frame a couple of times over 6f last term, including on his penultimate start at Windsor in July, that ought to have brought him on plenty from a physical perspective.
He's since been eased 1lb to 75, which may prove lenient if he relaxes for David Probert.
