Horse Racing Tips: Copacabana in fashion for Tipperary feature

There are a trio of Sunday meetings across Britain and Ireland as we wave goodbye to the month of August and prepare to welcome the real start of autumn.
They go on the Flat at Brighton and Tipperary, with Group 3 fare from the Irish venue, while National Hunt fans can look forward to action from Worcester on a busy Sunday afternoon. My three best bets for Sunday's racing are below.
Horse Racing Tips - Sunday, August 31
14:22 Brighton - Calafiori @ 10/11
This Class 5 maiden over an extended five furlongs surely presents George Boughey's CALAFIORI with a glaring opportunity to get on the scoresheet.
The Ardad gelding was banging at the door in posting runner-up finishes at Thirsk and Wolverhampton in July, both over 5f, and then bumped into a solid rival when second again at Bath over this trip a fortnight ago.
A replication of that run should suffice in this company, and Billy Loughnane's partner could well improve for the application of first-time cheekpieces now.
Odds correct at time of publishing.
14:40 Worcester - Galway Reel @ 9/1
The Ian Williams-trained GALWAY REEL could be an each-way contender in the Neu-Servo Rapid Response Handicap Chase over 2m7f at Worcester.
The son of Highland Reel is 0-13 under Rules to this point but he showed some decent hurdles form at Ludlow over 3m last season, relative to a race of this nature.
He tackled fences for the first time last month at Uttoxeter (3m2f, good) and was in contention when unseating Robbie Dunne five out.
He needs to jump more effectively, but that mistake should sharpen his focus and this mark of 89 is one he could exploit before long in this sphere.
The returning Faitque De L'isle is the only they all have to beat on the strength of his wins at Ludlow in the spring.
Odds correct at time of publishing.
16:00 Tipperary - Copacabana Sands @ 9/4
Tipperary's feature race is the Coolmore Stud No Nay Never Fairy Bridge Stakes, a Fillies' & Mares' Group 3 set to be run over 7½ furlongs.
It's a contest Aidan O'Brien hasn't won since 2008, despite being hosted at his nearest racecourse, and the Ballydoyle handler doesn't have a strong contender in the exposed Sweet Chariot now.
Once-raced Curragh maiden winner Fingerpaint is interesting for Dermot Weld in the Juddmonte silks, but the Kingman filly will have to step up to lower the colours of the thriving COPACABANA SANDS for the Michael O'Callaghan yard.
The Sands Of Mali filly has been progressing nicely since relocating to this stable last winter. She scored at Naas (7f, good) in Listed company in May and followed up in June over the same trip at Leopardstown on soft going, very much on top at the line in that Group 3 event.
The extra distance promises to suit and the fact that there has been plenty of rain around will only serve Ben Coen's partner well. This promising three-year-old has more to offer.
Odds correct at time of publishing.
