Horse Racing Tips: Star duo to extend Listowel record

Flat racing holds sway across Britain and Ireland on Monday with six meetings taking place across the afternoon and into the evening. First off is Gowran Park, before they go at Listowel, Lingfield Park, Newbury, Windsor and Wolverhampton.
Amongst our Monday fancies is one for trainer Willie Mullins who is bidding to win the 2m3f chase for the fifth time on the bounce in the hands of Paul Townend.

14:57 Listowel - Cappucino @ 12/1
Liz Doyle sent CAPPUCINO on a chasing campaign at the start of the season and it hasn't worked out, but perhaps a return to timber can see him bounce back to his former self in the 2m handicap hurdle at Listowel.
His best finish over fences was when runner-up in a novice chase at Tramore on New Year's Day, but he really struggled in a Wexford handicap on latest and it's no surprise that connections have now decided to give up the ghost on chasing.
What is very interesting is the fact Cappucino has a 100% strike-rate at Listowel, as he bolted up here in a bumper in 2024 before going on to win on hurdling debut at Punchestown next time out.
He could be fairly treated off a mark of 112 in this sphere now and any money for him would be very interesting indeed.

16:07 Listowel - Blood Destiny @ 1/1
Willie Mullins and Paul Townend have teamed up to land the 2m3f chase at Listowel for the last four years on the bounce and BLOOD DESTINY can extend the winning sequence for the powerhouse team.
Easy Game won the race three years on the bounce and our selection here won the race 12 months ago where he made all from flag-fall and bolted up by 11 lengths for a finish.
The highlight of Blood Destiny's season to date has been a Grade 3 win at Naas in February and he was totally outclassed in the Punchestown Champion Chase when last seen, but this is a much weaker affair and he has likely been laid out for it.
It has to be worth noting that the stable also runs Classic Getaway but he will probably struggle over a trip this short on a sharp track.

16:19 Gowran Park - Changing Lanes @ 15/8
There's no stopping the Joseph O'Brien team at present as they seem to be banging in winners left, right and centre, and CHANGING LANES should be up to the task in the maiden over just shy of 1m2f at Gowran Park.
Third to Bay Of Stars at Dundalk over 1m4f on debut, the winner advertised the form well when runner-up in a handicap off 80 since, and Changing Lanes went close at Roscommon over this trip last time when beaten a neck, headed close home.
The pair were nicely clear on the day and that form should be good enough to make it third time lucky.
